I had this album around 1976, does anyone know where I might be able to find it on c.d. My girlfriend likes country so I would be listening to it in my car. Thanks for any help.
This is great! That is, until the drum solo. I hate drum solos. I pray one day drum solos will become a thing of the past, and the world will be a better place,
Hmm. I studied Robin's gear and set up live for a number of years : I think he employed a Dan Armstrong Range Booster as well as a Fender Blender for his overdrive / distortion . The wa-wa was most certainly a Tychobrahe Wa ( very rare ) . Later he added : MuTron II envelope filter , two Electro-Harmonix Electric Mistress Flangers , the Univox Uni-vibe . I never saw / heard him employ delay, though he recorded with an occasional EchoPlex. Mostly he played 50 watt Marshall heads I saw JMP's
What can you consider this as being ? A type of jazz rock hybrid . Damn do miss this type of music. And as I age I come to realize that I did'nt miss out on the 60's. I became a teenager and a rocker at the best time in music.
By the camera interference lines you tell they were playing FO loud....!!! That's a proper 'man's' guitar tone right there... such a great band... thanks for posting,...
takes me back to the road , in the middle of Australia hitch hiking in the wilderness-just me and myself and I -experiencing solitude and finding myself !-thanks for the memories ! :) love and peace ! gus
Rockers were just cooler back then...Great post - thanks!

@gatortailor Whatever! You must admit that 'for a drum solo'.. this particular one keeps the drive alive.. and this drummer is a most soulful player.
Even as a drummer, myself... I think some drum solos are quite mundane and boring... but, this one is surely not one of those :-)

very tight live performance by a classic power trio.

Jimmy Dewar was a unique and great voice. Robin was and is the real deal...a guitarists guitarist.
