yeah. I had the same problem, random zooming in and out while looking at photos, using the camera, and the sat nav. Contacted nokia, updated software, didnt fix it, asked nokia if there was a way disable it, they said no. It also had a faulty keypad. you would have to hit a button 3 or 4 times before it would react. It is a common fault with the phone. I am supposed to get my replacement today, which will probably have the same problems, which means i will return it again.
IM having the same problem.plz DO NOT CUT THE WIRE OF STRIP> it will cut off ur screen as well and light of it. i bought 6710 2nd hand and owner had have them cut then he had to replace the display.l then sold that set after 4 days of use.
now bought a new 1 and got the same problem.

same problem hier in Belgium with the 6710 navigator.
I needed to change the phone, but it is 4 weeks waiting, still 3 weeks to go.
I hope the problem is over than.
