This film will remain one of the best ever produced by Bollywood and it does not need an Oscar nomination to prove that.
The third kind is-Men who go to their death laughing. Why didnt this film go to the Oscars? Eklavya- The Royal Guard, which is uncomparable to this movie, was sent instead. Politics again.....
I'm a Bangladeshi. I like Indian film. I watch this movie and I don't know how many time In my eyes tears coming. This movie make me cry. In my life this is one of the best movie. great movie.....but the unfortunate truth is that corruption will never be diminished, it simply CANNOT be helped. It's human nature, greed, many humans succumb to primitive desires and hatred that's why we have wars and complications between countries.
But...where there is a will there is a way and i say that only if each and every one of us "take responsibility" (DJ) and stay motivated throughout our lives (not just a couple hours after the movie) than my friends it is truly possible.

Corrupt politicians live with bad conscience and suffer from many psychosomatic illnesses. My WWII veteran dad always said never do anything that's against your conscience which is a good advice. It's possible some people have buried their conscience under ego, greed and lust or sell their soul for profit. Great movie :)

I think the message of this movie is very much right, we have to change ourselves, we always fight and defend our weaknesses, its ridiculous, we should get rid of our weaknesses. The sad part is that 60 of those Mig-21 Bisons are still in service in the IAF and the MMRCA deal has been going on for ages now. I wish they would hurry up and pick so that these Soviet era aircraft can finally be phased out!

In my eyes... taking the example of what these youngers did was not by any means better than what that defense minister did. Violence does not solve anything and the end DEFINATELY DOESN'T justify the means...

When I went to the theatre with my frnds for the movie..I applied a lil make-up coz I had to attend a function after tht....but all I did in the end was cry cry cry..they were all looking at me..but tht didn't make me feel embarassed..I continued crying..they gave up & started crying themselves..we all looked like bhoots by the time we came out. I can never forget tht day..its something bizzard, tears which flew so thickly , so boldly was something which I have to owe to this film!
Very few movies have the capacity of touching my soul. This was one of them. We all have a moral responsibility to change our countries for the better.....every one of us. It IS worth dying for!
whoa... that was an awesome movie... kudos to ALL the actors... they all did a great job (unlike in slumdog)... definately deserved to win oscars... but unfortunately they didn't :(

All the awards in the world to this movie... I saw it many years ago for the first time and many times in between..and today it's still refreshing like the first time and will remain this way

Very good movie and everything. But for the on-going discussion about whether or not something like this is a good thing to do is very controvercial. In my eyes... taking the example of what these youngers did was not by any means better than what that defense minister did. Violence does not solve anything and the end DEFINATELY DOESN'T justify the means...

How can someone kill a minister? It simply doesnt make any sense. And which ever action was taken by them will obviously not make any difference at all ever! Be realistic.

When I went to the theatre with my frnds for the movie..I applied a lil make-up coz I had to attend a function after tht....but all I did in the end was cry cry cry..they were all looking at me..but tht didn't make me feel embarassed..I continued crying..they gave up & started crying themselves..we all looked like bhoots by the time we came out. I can never forget tht day..its something bizzard, tears which flew so thickly , so boldly was something which I have to owe to this film!

whoa... that was an awesome movie... kudos to ALL the actors... they all did a great job (unlike in slumdog)... definately deserved to win oscars... but unfortunately they didn't :(
also if you guys liked this watch Yuva (or the Tamil version which is called Aayitha Ezhuthu-its also got Siddharth & Madhavan & this version is better)
