I can't speak for the Disco 3 but I can tell you the Disco 4 is utterly awesome off road. I completed the advanced off road driver training at Land Rover in a Disco 4. The guy in front of me was in a Defender. I think most people who know anything would agree that the Defender is the benchmark against which all other 4x4s are held. The guy in the Defender had to work his socks off to get round the course. The Disco on the other hand made it so effortless. The only reason I took it out of auto a

The only reason someone would hate this is if they have a bad sence of cars.

I care about if it is able to take a beating off road then comfort next, if it cant off road than what is the point of it being a Land Rover, its just some other SUV in my eyes if it can't do off roading.
