I really, really, really can't believe that Ari Up passed away because I just found out yesterday (just yesterday) that she had died two months ago and I did not know that. She is a true inspiration to Me as a Punk Fanatic and I remember back in 7th Grade on Halloween that I dressed up like her from the Slits' Typical Girls Music Video hahaha sweet memories. I didn't really expect her to die at a young age because Ari Up is too cheery and easygoing to die at such a young age...R.I.P. Ari Up :(

RIP Ari Up. I had no idea she was ill. I'm stunned. I've seen her a few times over the last few years and was always struck by her vitality, sense of joy, humour and love of life. I really admired Ari for lots of reasons and am genuinely saddened by this news.

Ari Up died earlier today, October 20th. It was her wish that this video be released posthumously. She will be missed dearly. RIP Ari Up.
