A Mac Computer can't do everything a Windows/Linux Computer can.

ok...its sad when apple has to make commercials to sell poor machines for the poor college student. PCs are sooo much better...there is nothing a mac can do that a PC cant..Plenty of things a PC can do but a mac cant. Pcs dont even need a commercial....

From a geeks point a view...a geek being someone into setting up servers, someone who embraces Open Source..macs simply rock. They are the best of both worlds. They have a great GUI riding on top over a FreeBSD ssubsytem.  This makes macs...including non-server editions, extremely powerful..much more than a PC w/ windows installed.

Obviously you've never used a mac, if you have, probably for 5 minutes. The warning signs to tell this are:

1) Saying macs are poor machines with out any facts backing it up

2) Saying PCs are better without any facts backing it up

3) Saying PCs can do things that macs can't

4) Saying PCs are easier to use, look prettier, or have better UI (even though you didn't say this one it is a warning sign.)

1) PCs are better and cheaper machines...example: 2ghz x-2 3800+ Amd, 1Gb ddr, 250gb hard drive, 6150 gforce. Mac- 1.83ghz core duo(which btw gets very hot, and very limited in overclocking), 512MB ddr, GMZ 950 vid (128MB), 160Gb hard drive...Price difference- 300$ for PC(allowing for upgrades if wanted).

Well, there's the fact that Macs are PCs these days. But you have to buy Windows seperately and the motherboard is a lot more expensive than a PC equivilent of the same speed. Still, there's the fact that Macs claim to be able to do things that a PC can't... And by the way I hate both systems. I use neither, and no i don't use a Unix/Linux knockoff either.
