  • @zilebg Hi Zik! I'm glad you like the video! It was really good to make contact with you! Conditions were good on Saturday - I was lucky enough to be in a very low noise area as you can see. I hope you chat to you again soon. By the way I've sent a QSL card - it's on it's way to you! 73, Craig VK3VCM

  • If you don't mind me asking. What are you using to shoot the HD video.

    Thanks

  • @N4PTC Hi There, No I don't mind at all! The camera is a Canon HF-200. It's about a year old now - the new version of it is called the Vixia HF M300. It's a small video camera which shoots in full 1080p. Here in Australia the camera is called a Canon Legria HF-200...but in the USA the same line of cameras is called the "Vixia" line. The camera is under $1000 and shoots directly to SD card. No tapes to mess about with. Also has 15x optical zoom & HDMI out. Regards, Craig

  • Great contact Craig - and a wonderful QTH with no noise.

I wonder if anyone's tried to form a 2 el yagi from 2 buddipoles (one shorter or longer)?
