1 - 90w LED UFO ~= 250w HPS/MH and are good for about a 2ft. x 2ft. area each

2 - Use a cheap humidifier and mop up that water before you get electrocuted or you get a serious mold/mildew problem, or both.

3 - Install some form of screen that would help you to keep your canopy even so you can keep your lights much closer.

I'm a big fan of LED grow lights, but the manufacturer claims are grossly exaggerated. Have fun!

You can get several red only paneles and use them to supplement say.. 2 4 foot t8 flourescents Most recoment t5s But my setup is kinda kicking major ass right now 1X 2bulb 4' t8 2 24 inch t17 grow bulbs for below canopy lighting... this is for my larger plants.. Herbs only need the t8 and do extremely well

HAHA equals to a 400-600 watt hps your hilariouss, ive grown for 7 years and trust me using those 90 watts did fuckall compared to my 250 watt hps, no matter my 400 and 600

you need to spend atleast 1500$ on a 600 watt+ led light to get the same products as one 600 watt hps, althought ive heard the product is slightly better with the 1500$ LED nobody wants to pay that much for such shitty increase of results

Pro's - Very bright, has full spectrum of light, Good penetration

Con's- Lots of Heat, Needs fans, needs ballast, energy bill, Blown bulbs

LED

Pro's - Able to get close to the plant minimize any stretching, No wasted energy, No heat, Small, no ballast, 50 000 hour leds' one 90 watt unit is the same as a 400 watt hps bulb in terms of useful output (just because its brighter does not mean its better)

Con's - Needs more penetration to get to lower leaves ( LED's are very directional, need to place them on angles to use all the plants leaves), Not a full spectrum ( you need to provide a fluorescent to get a full spectrum)

Some say cost but I sell for 220$, you save on the energy bill and bulbs and the ufo's are so compact, its easier to work with,

Each ufo covers abouta 3x3 area for most uses if your growing lettuce for example you can stretch that to 7x7, Depends how high

they flower worse than a 150 watt HPS, i've seen it first hand. HOWEVER, they do VEG as well as a 400 watt Metal Halide. The problem is that LED's are getting cheaper and instead of marketing them as the amazing VEGETATIVE lights they are, they try to compare them to HPS. Fact is that LED produces small flowers; at least currently. The best way to us LED is to replace ur CFL or MH for Veg and then switch over to HPS for flower. LED is the future of grow lights. NASA uses them.

First, no shock happened nor wil it ever. Cords are attached above the water and are suspended in the air above our heads. And LEDS do work. You do need either a few fluorescents (more then what you see here) or a HPS.

We tried just a bucket, didn't do anything. We tried a humidifier and it gets to steamy/ bucket runs out every 4 hours.

You just have to get the right LEDS. Don't even look at ebay.

Electricity ABOVE THE WAIST....water BELOW....wouldnt advise pouring water in floor over your cords to control humidity. Spend a few bucks and buy a humidifier, would be much safer and effective
