I just bought one of these and the barrel is SO slippery. I know you're supposed to use your gloved gand to hold the ends, but what do you do with the slipping hair? it slides right off and I can't get tight curls.

Thanks, Valerie! I got the same wand today, but I'm having a difficult time with it. That's probably because I've never even straightened my hair on my own, though. I'll try it your way(hand w/ iron over the head). The main problem I have is that it slips off the barrel, though. I also hold the ends with my gloved hand, but it still just slips right off. I think it's a matter of practice, though. Thank you for your video!!!

@MarenAnne66 Wrap hair tightly around the barrel and hold onto the ends the entire time. Also, try holding the barrel at an angle and grip the hair with your hand that has the heat protective glove on it.

Love this curling iron.. But you're killing your hair, you don't need to use the highest heat setting, you can just quickly wrap it around then let go instead of slowly doing it and the holding it for that long, just saying.

@24ohmy the weave that she has is human hair otherwise she wouldnt be able to apply heat to it without it melting as with weaves that are made with synthetic hair. So it should work the same way on your hair =)

@luelue911 yes its pretty easy bcuz all there is to do is open the curler and then put the temperature where you like it and just watch youtube videos on how to curl hair and you're all set and ready to curl! :)

@MsROSENESS100 yea i bought it a while back and love love love it!. i have mixed hair but i use clip ins for length, and i use it on the clip ins and dont have a problem with the curls being different. When i use a regular curling iron i notice the fake hair curls differently and i have to do alot to get it to blend with my real hair. So that was a huge plus for me.
