Would anybody recommend this, I play synths in a POP punk band, at the minute I use a Korg x50 and a Korg kaossilator pro, would this be a good addition ?? If not then what should I get next??

@GDjesusOfsuburbia depends what yo are trying to do, the kaoss pad quad only does effects like reverb, delay, looper,and distortion, basically only effects and external source. The KP3 does all this and more, plus better, and their is a sampler, i would say the kp3 is gona be more fun but is about 150 more dollars

The touch pad makes effects that apply to the sounds being played by the buttons. You can also hook up another sounds source and apply sounds to that. Help?

Get the KP3 dude, the Kaosillator Pro does the same as it's previous model, you select a note and you can only play that note in different pitches. KP3 has been reccomended so much more. Trust, I was gunna go for a KaosPro, but now im svaing for a KP3

Its has a few bult in synthesiser effects, like ten or 15 or so. If you go on the korg website you can download all of the documentation including a full list of all modes.

This thing isn't a synth dude, it's an effects processor and sampler. If you don't know much about electronic music then you probably shouldn't get this. Check out the Kaossilator Pro. That's pretty dope, and the alesis micron and microKorg are really good beginner synths.
