  • Hi Mike, as a dog trainer myself, resource guarding food is a common client call, especially when people get bit. I feel with most of my clients dogs it is apparent I would be dog "A" i am usually in control of everything. however it doesnt mean I can just grab a bone away from them. Is it then only common sense to follow the natural order of things and allow this behavior. Or why or why not and what is the most successful approach to dealing with resource guarding as it applies to people and k9
