  • really 100% bone stock? No stripped out interior or some light reduction? Mine doesn't go that quick. It has 230.000km but there is much difference

  • @jeffhardy26683 even golf gti mk3 16v with 150 hp doesnt stand a chance, because the honda weights 200 kg less, crx 1.6 16v accelerates to 100 kp/h in about 8 secs

    meinen GTI 16V warm , damit ich 15 Minuten später mal richtig Gas geben kann

  • @cyclecrafttom ist ja lustig, wie haben das Jahr 2010, und die Spinner die glauben mit einem GTI 16V kann man das selbe machen, gibt es immer noch. Die haben in den 90ern schon die selbe Scheisse gelabert. ^^

    Mach mal so einem Lappen wie CossiePower begreiflich, dass 16V bei Honda schon seit über 20Jahren nichts besonderes ist, und das die Japaner die PS aus der Drehzahl und nicht aus dem Hubraum holen.

    Früher haben die Honda dafür ausgelacht, heute macht VW das selbe. Ich lach mit schrott.

  • @rundquader wo macht VW das gleiche? ich würde sagen TSFI ist so ziemlich das gegenteil von einem Vtecsauger.......170 ps, 250 oder 280 NM von 1200 - 4000 Umdrehungen, danach 170PS von 4000 - weis der geier 5500 oder 6000 UMdrehungen.....

    Vor 20 Jahren hat man über Honda gelacht. 1.6l und 124PS würde ja nicht gehen, und die Maschinen halten nur 100.000 Kilometer, dann sind sie kaputt, weil bla bla bla blubber blubber bla.

  • my buddie has a turbo gsr hatch and when he gets on it the gas gauge really drops.. it drinks gas like a 350... but when he is just takin it easy he still gets oh i dunno like 30 mpg... haha gotta love honda

  • simple explaination for the gas gauge... when accelerating hard the some gas goes from the front to the back of the tank (car thinks it has less gas, but it is just at the back of the tank). The opposite is true during braking. gas goes to the front and car thinks it has more

  • Haha I got EE8 and I have a same "demotivating" fuel gauge :) Every time I accelerate it drops and it raises up when braking :)

  • That thing about the fuel gauge is happening in my friend's 95 Civic EX too. We couldn't find a solution though...

  • you no i dont think any one has figured out DOWN shifting i accually bad for your tranny your can easily take the bearing out of the drum btw.....yeah so if you like your tranny dont de-accelerate with your clutch out....

  • You need an SiR gauge cluster. The D-series has lower redline, and it looks like you are going by that instead of what the B-series powerband seems to like. The redline in my JDM EF9 begins at 8000, revlimit 8500. Racing I generally change around 7800-8000.

    crx was an eudm crx ed9 with 124 stock horsepower.

    with light mods ~140 hp

    The ED9 models where equipped with the D16A9 Engine =130WHP and later Models with the D16Z5 124 WHP Engines.

    The most powerfull CRX was the EE/EF8 wit The B16A1 150/160WHP
