  • what would make this and some of your other vids complete would be to have a then and now montage. i would love to see not only how the camp looks today, but how it looked back in the day.

  • Great video and thank you for sharing. Down in the valley below in the San Luis Valley is some ghostly towns as well.

  • gggghooost dog!

  • i love that town, silverton

  • looks like a place in red dead redemption....... i find it awesome that it looks so western it looks like time travel !

  • @slaGkooZ Omg I'm playing Red Dead right now! Love that game!

  • OMG did anyone else notice the ghost dog that was scary lol just kidding i know it wasnt a ghost but good vid tho

  • Awsome video! Thanks so much for sharing with us.

  • love the music. Thanks for not posting a colorado scenery video with country for once :P

  • This place is awesome. Went here last fall in our PT Cruiser......We really need a JEEP.......lol.

  • This is one of the most beautiful places in the world. My dad took me there when I was 13, and I've never forgotten how amazing it was. Can't wait to go back again.

  • The Notwist???

    Cool video!

  • Actually it's Loro by Pinback but I love Notwist too!

  • Awesome job on videos. Love jeeping and the outdoors. Keep up the great work.

  • Thanks for watching! I'm working on two more Jeeping videos, so check back soon!

  • You bet, I'll add you to my favorites. I live in KS and would absolutely love to take a jeep/camping trip to some old ghost towns. I'll watch your videos until then. Thanks again and take care.

  • i guy could live out there in a house! and have all the beauty around him!

  • make a video of south park dude stores drug stores etc all of them are full of items

  • me and my family are going to silverton in the beginning of august and we are renting a jeep wrangler, anywhere you suggest for trails?

  • Check out my San Juan mountain videos...you should do the Alpine Loop (Engineer and Cinnamon), Ophir, Imogene, Last Dollar Road, Corkscrew, Hurricane Pass, California Gulch, Owl Creek Pass, Stony Pass, Animas Forks...everything going out of Silverton is amazing, you can't go wrong.

  • I always adore your videos. :) Please don't stop traveling this great state of ours.

  • A jeep, video camera and editing equipment. A great combination. I envy you lol..... My wife and i want to go to Animas forks but dont have a good 4x4......oh well. maybe someday.

  • Hey there, you don't need a 4x4 to get to Animas forks from Silverton. You can take the highway to Silverton and then take the dirt road to Animas Forks. It's only rough AFTER Animas Forks, because it's the beginning of several 4x4 roads such as Cinnamon and Engineeer. But you can get to Animas Forks just fine in a passenger car!

  • Cool, thanks for the tip.

  • Great editing, can you tell me who does this song?

  • It's in my description up on the right. It's "Loro" by Pinback. Thanks for watching!

  • 1:32 se ve una imagen de un rostro de un bebe riendose en la montaña arriba de la casa grande. 2:02 se ve la mitad de la cara de una chica emitiendo un sentimiento triste.

    Your's Oli~

  • Animas Forks is a great ghost town. I ran into an insane man there three years ago. That's not an exaggeration. In my 58 years, I have never run into such a nut-case in my life. I almost had to shoot him.

  • Cool, I'll do that. Hopefully within the next few days. Thanks for watching my vids!

  • Great Videos JeepsterGal! I was just here yesterday, was fairly crowded, until the rain began, then it cleared out quickly. I won't make it to Ironton, got any video for us out of towners?

  • Heya, I have tons of photos of Ironton, but no video that I can recall, but I'll look. Wasn't able to make it down there for my usual July 4th trip but will go later this summer or fall...I can make a slideshow of Ironton if you like though...

  • Yes - if you post it, i will watch it. We are back in MN now, but will return to CO next summer.

  • Thanks JeepsterGal! I can't get enough of your videos, I've commented on some before. The area is still my home away from Iowa. I think we're planning an ATV trip to Ridgway state park again this year, instead of Jeeps. Keep em coming, they make me happy!
