This movie broke my heart so bad back in the day. David would kick Negal's ass and the 3 three clowns. They are great actors tho but this also should had to be david's movie to tag team with Matt Reeves.

Tong Po easily beat kickboxing world champion (!) Eric Sloan... David Sloan beat Tong Po - twice. And now David lose to two clowns? Ha! Reason why David lost them and died is elementary - David`s character didn`t need to films directors any more, they prefered new character, new hero - Matt Reeves, so David lost to these two clowns so miserably. It is not fair!!!

Yeah i totally agree they wrote off david sloan in the worst way possible they did not even use a good look a like and come on, with how good david sloan really is at kickboxing he wouldve kicked those guys' asses, at least if you are going to kill him off, dont kill him off at his own game that we all know he can win!! kill him off with a gun or something else but not some cheap ass fighter kicking his ass in the shadows

I never watched 3 or this one before. 1, 2, and 4 were aight. But why this one? Did they include David Sloan just so they could call it Kickboxer 5? Why kill him in the first 2 mins with Po nowhere to be seen? And for the most part, this one is known just by the subtitle The Redemption, largely cuz the Sloan-Po plot ain't in it. I'm usually all for cheesy movies but I'm disappointed in this one without even seeing it

No, it`s not Sasha. The character of David Sloan is played by an unknown martial artist in the opening credits. All you see is the shadow of David Sloan fighting Mr. Negaal's henchmen. Win to Tong Po and lose to two idiots? ) Ha!

The kickboxer series is about tong po's beef with the sloan brothers, so why have they scrapped David and Tong Po and what is up with the cheap ass write offs they've made for the sloan brothers? The whole series has been watered down to the point where it doesn't even make sense anymore lol. Thanks for ruining a potentially decent series, whoever you may be. I say It's better to burn out, than fade away.
