@p8ntballcracker With the headers your Mustang will definitely be illegal, if you live in Minnesota that is. Im not sure what the laws are in other states. But it will definitely sound like a true muscle car.
if you put a catless midpipe on it with the lm1's, it will essentially be straight pipes. the slp lm1 kit comes with 4 inch resonators, or as slp likes to call them, pulse mufflers, and they really dont do a whole lot as far as dampening the sound. all they do is add rasp and crackle and pop. so what your have is a nasty loud muscle car they way they were intended to be. its what i had on my 99 cobra and believe me, youll be looking out for cops hardcore! haha
yeah, i agree about the looking out for cops thing, when ever i see one, i try not to bring the rpms up over 15-17k when i shift. just have to take it nice and easy. =)
is it too loud? i have slp lm1s and want long tube headers with a shorty mid pipe but idk if it'll be too loud or not =/
