He didn't create this world from scratch, just get to know the amazons in South America, he got a lot of the ideas from there, don't get me wrong Avatar its my favorite movie, its just they give this guy to much credit for creating "Pandora" Pandora its just like earth in steroids, here on earth we have wonderful creatures you want to live like a Na'vi try the amazons there still there a bunch of tribes living completely surrounded by nature, isolated from the rest of the world.

its funny , i have a feeling i used to have as a kid , cuz i grew up with jame's movies i remember every time i used to see 20th cent fox logo i was thinking about Aliens , now i have the same thrill but its centered around avatar , i think i fell in love again , i fell in love with the whole atmosphere of the movie , watch out its poisonous you might get infected as well , but if you do want go watch in the cinema best if you can see it in Imax or 3d

beautifully shot movie some of the scenes just blew me away. the plot had alot of parallels to the struggles of the native americans.avatars the "great mother" indians "great spirt" how man often driven by greed try to substitute nature's perfection, complex web of life that took billions of years of evolution to create. with their primitive technology when english settlers destroyed the indigenous indians they also destroyed so much knowledge on how to live in harmony with the land
