The propshaft is the same level as the bottom. Top speed was 55.7knots GPS with the Yamaha ProSeries.

What project with a 17ft / Yamaha 90 are you doing?

55.7kts GPS was the top speed. The boat is know getting the bottom blueprinted and optimized by former builder and racer (World Speed Record holder) of these boats. I will for this season fit it with a '06 Mercury Racing 200xs Optimax SS SM (2.5 V6 DFI).

The boat is a 17' 24 degree V with pad (280kg) and the new V6 engine is 197kg + 5kg trim pump. Will post clips when testing.

Hi, - engine block machined and ported - high performance head - cylinders bored to 3x oversize - 3x oversize pistons balanced on shafts - drilled carbs - keihin velocity stacks - bigger jets #182 instead of org. #165 - high performance exhaust pipe - Bobs Big Foot nose cone - all new gearing in lower - new CDI unit with rev limiter disconnected - longer sparkplugs - Livorsi pyrometer

Thank you. The prop was a modified Yamaha ProSeries 13 1/2 23 at 6 600rpm.

Yes, I have a CMC manual lift with 5 1/2" setback - propshaft flush to bottom. Also a Bob's Big Foot single hose nose cone...

Engine turns out just over 120hp and has revved 7 500rpm.

New engine for 2009 is a Mercury 200xs
