@legonds spinning the tires means to warm them up, so they can perform a better grip, which also means a better acceleration. You can reach vmax much faster, but of course its a drain on ressources

Well Yamaha VMAX isn't the fastest motorbike made by Yamaha. Race between a R1 and you'll be in a serious problem. Kart is a badass, I guess it sounds is from a Suzuki 1300 cc. engine. Anyway nice job-you RULE!!!.
the car has a higher 0-60 time because it has a stronger engine so in time the car certainly will win and the guy in the car isnt even driving properly
ehm, to drive, i prefer the x bow, when you slam in the wall with that cart, i dont think your body will stil be the same, I have an 125 cc and even that is a bit scary XD
kart is ganna win every time...... half power of the car and barely weighs anything...
and against the bike hurr durr 30 hp less but 2 wheels puttin the power down... durrp not a real challenge on the straight.. give it turns then it will be a challenge
@9772783 do you have an idea about the bullshit you are talking about?...every bike is slower than practically every car turning..and a normal car can reach just 1G of lateral acceleration...a race kart can reach 3G..(a F1 4,9G) in every mixed track even a 40hp kart would destroy a 180hp 1000cc bike..it's physycs guy..you are too used to "bar speeches"....as the most of the bikers are..(i'm a biker too..and not the first arrived..)..cars in a track are faster..even if much slower in acceleration
I beg to differ you throw a bike on a track like Willow springs and it will eat cars alive. Granted there are a lot of tracks that cars can out pace bikes on, but don't kid yourself, bikes are so much faster than most cars ever will be. They even have documented challenges between GP bikes and F1 cars. The bikes come in under a second slower on the same tracks that F1 drivers gain or lose their glory. Now take that knowledge and compare it to something like a GSXR600 and an M3
@quickcooper61 fool..in every track of the world gp bikes are from 25 to 60s slower than F1s...what knowledge should i take?ignorance you mean?....inform you better and run with some pilot..he'll be the first one to tell you..even in straight F1 are pretty faster (old V10s 0-100 in 2s,0-200 in 3.9, 0-300 in 8.7 vs moto gp 0-100 2s,0-200 in 5.5,0-300 in about 11,5-12),as for normal cars,on the fast and in the slow-mixed they are faster, even if slower in acceleration compared to the 1000ccs
@pazzoallaguida There are 2 things that F1 has over GP bikes. First that they have aerodynamics that literally slam the car on the ground. At 150 mph in a still wind you can flip the car up side down and because it has so much downforce it will stay glued to the celling. Second they have the advantage of four fat flat slicks sitting squarely on the ground to apply the power. GP has everything else.
@quickcooper61 What drugs have you been taking? Bikes are NOWHERE NEAR AS FAST AS CARS AT WILLOW. Maybe on the Streets of Willow but on the big track no way.Track record at Willow is 1.06 by Michael Andretti in an Indy car for a average speed of 136mph. Quickcooper you need to do some research there is no track in the world that bikes are faster. I have raced both so I like both equally I am just stating the facts.
@quickcooper61 Wrong, just plain wrong. GP bikes are no where near as quick around a race track as a F1 car. Top speeds are similar and a GP bike cannot pull anywhere near the Gs around a corner as an F1 car. If you think there are documented cases of GP bikes circulating within 1 sec of a F1 car please point me too it. Better yet, you look at the record times of GP bikes vs. F1 on tracks they share or have shared for races. The bikes are way slower. BTW, I used to road race bikes for 20 years.
@pazzoallaguida the drag coefficient of a GP bike is far far less than an F1 and cintrifical force combats what the car has as far as aerodynamics for cornering. Not to mention that on a bike you have more control over the weight shifts than on four wheels (albeit slightly slower at changing direction). They are an even match up. I don't know where you get the idea that F1s are that much faster. The 250cc two stroke track bikes are about 30 seconds slower but not GP bikes ;)

Although I still believe the MonsterKart would have won (It WOULD have been a MUCH closer race) I noted 2 things:
1. The Vmax spun it's rear tire for 100-125 feet, severely affecting it's accelleration.
2. The MonsterKart only faced the Vmax ONCE.

@legonds spinning the tires means to warm them up, so they can perform a better grip, which also means a better acceleration. You can reach vmax much faster, but of course its a drain on ressources

Well Yamaha VMAX isn't the fastest motorbike made by Yamaha. Race between a R1 and you'll be in a serious problem. Kart is a badass, I guess it sounds is from a Suzuki 1300 cc. engine. Anyway nice job-you RULE!!!.

@9772783 do you have an idea about the bullshit you are talking about?...every bike is slower than practically every car turning..and a normal car can reach just 1G of lateral acceleration...a race kart can reach 3G..(a F1 4,9G) in every mixed track even a 40hp kart would destroy a 180hp 1000cc bike..it's physycs guy..you are too used to "bar speeches"....as the most of the bikers are..(i'm a biker too..and not the first arrived..)..cars in a track are faster..even if much slower in acceleration

I beg to differ you throw a bike on a track like Willow springs and it will eat cars alive. Granted there are a lot of tracks that cars can out pace bikes on, but don't kid yourself, bikes are so much faster than most cars ever will be. They even have documented challenges between GP bikes and F1 cars. The bikes come in under a second slower on the same tracks that F1 drivers gain or lose their glory. Now take that knowledge and compare it to something like a GSXR600 and an M3

@quickcooper61 fool..in every track of the world gp bikes are from 25 to 60s slower than F1s...what knowledge should i take?ignorance you mean?....inform you better and run with some pilot..he'll be the first one to tell you..even in straight F1 are pretty faster (old V10s 0-100 in 2s,0-200 in 3.9, 0-300 in 8.7 vs moto gp 0-100 2s,0-200 in 5.5,0-300 in about 11,5-12),as for normal cars,on the fast and in the slow-mixed they are faster, even if slower in acceleration compared to the 1000ccs

@pazzoallaguida There are 2 things that F1 has over GP bikes. First that they have aerodynamics that literally slam the car on the ground. At 150 mph in a still wind you can flip the car up side down and because it has so much downforce it will stay glued to the celling. Second they have the advantage of four fat flat slicks sitting squarely on the ground to apply the power. GP has everything else.

@quickcooper61 What drugs have you been taking? Bikes are NOWHERE NEAR AS FAST AS CARS AT WILLOW. Maybe on the Streets of Willow but on the big track no way.Track record at Willow is 1.06 by Michael Andretti in an Indy car for a average speed of 136mph. Quickcooper you need to do some research there is no track in the world that bikes are faster. I have raced both so I like both equally I am just stating the facts.

@quickcooper61 Wrong, just plain wrong. GP bikes are no where near as quick around a race track as a F1 car. Top speeds are similar and a GP bike cannot pull anywhere near the Gs around a corner as an F1 car. If you think there are documented cases of GP bikes circulating within 1 sec of a F1 car please point me too it. Better yet, you look at the record times of GP bikes vs. F1 on tracks they share or have shared for races. The bikes are way slower. BTW, I used to road race bikes for 20 years.

@pazzoallaguida the drag coefficient of a GP bike is far far less than an F1 and cintrifical force combats what the car has as far as aerodynamics for cornering. Not to mention that on a bike you have more control over the weight shifts than on four wheels (albeit slightly slower at changing direction). They are an even match up. I don't know where you get the idea that F1s are that much faster. The 250cc two stroke track bikes are about 30 seconds slower but not GP bikes ;)

@quickcooper61 considering the deportance, the drag coefficient doesn t have so much importance since the last 70s..and you have no idea about what the gyroscopycal effect is (and you speak about cintrifical force..)..more control??on a gp bike weight changes are slow even if compared to a city car..it's physycs..and as for the 250s..they were clearly faster than 1000cc (or 800) in turns and average slower than the gp's by 3-5s for lap...you have a strange idea about the world around guy..
