Benny "The Jet" Urquidez is the uncle of some of my friends Leo and Thomas Urquidez. They have a picture of him with their dad hugging. I believe their dad is his nephew and they are his grand nephews. I just thought that was cool. We live in Roswell NM, and they have a famous fighter for an uncle. they are really good at Martial Arts as well. Awesome!!!!

The only time I heard the Theme song to the Japanese version of wheels on meals was when legendary wrestler Mitsuharu Misawa was using the theme. I did not know it was part of Spartan X(wheels on meals) until I saw the Japanese Trailer.

I actually wanted to write this cuase i remmbered this video when he sadid benny never lost a match. They got his loss on full contact karate comp loss on yahoo like the 5th one down when you write in benny the jet lost fight. He also has a few losses but in his interviews he says in his head hes undefeated, so another point is he himself never truly says hes never lost a fight.

i think jackie is in much better shape. benny has more competition fighting under his belt but it think jackie has more over all training. it would be super epic.

It would be a massive match up. I think it should of happened years ago, Benny has more actual tournaments experience and full contact fighting experience, where Jackie, even with his training, hasn't really been in a real, man vs man match up in a long while. The hype would explode.

The Jet, as said in the commentary, has had 200 full contact fights which he all won, with 0 losses. Jackie has done like 100 movies, but of course, movies are movies, even though Jackie does his own stunts, Benny would have the overall experience and def the strength. Jackie would have a hard time, but maybe just maybe.

Jackie is the best movie fighter who ever lived. Far superior to Bruce Lee. But, do not think an actor can win against a world champion like Benny.

Young Jackie could have beat maybe 50% of full contact fighters in real fights. But none of the best fighters.

At age 55 Jackie Chan is still amazing. The two things no one can question about him is his life long training, and, his courage.

With the injuries he has sustained it is remarkable Jackie can go toe to toe with younger men.

If jackie took it serious and actually trained for a real fight he could of been one of the best ever. everyone said wrestlers couldnt really fight now these wwf and tna wrestlers are the some of the best in the world. Exam these frames you see that Jackie is actually hitting Benny. But Benny never actually strikes Jackie. Benny has more power, & better attacking moves. Do not get me wrong. Jackie was one of the VERY BEST. At 56 still incredible. Benny would have hurt him.

In a sequence of teen Jackie with Bruce Lee where Lee is hurting Chan. Hated Bruce Lee. Over rated. a 31 year old Chan vs a 31 year old Lee twould have been something. Jackie had better balance & far better conditoning.

Actually benny does actually hit him and he discuesses it on his interview talking about his work and his reltionship with jackie. Jackie actually tested benny out to see if he was legit. Jackie hired many actually fighters for his movies for the realism. benny said that jackie tested out his power to make sure he could hit and take hits. benny talks about himself hitting yuen in dragons forever aswell. Benny also in his fight vs omigwa said he couldnt believe this guy hit so hard for a guyat145

All my point is even though benny was a great fighter he was naturally smaller compared to jackie. Benny fought at 135-155 and jacke naturally walks around at 160+ in his bio. Benny wasnt the hardest hitter in his own weight class, if you do watch any of his you should watch the fight vs billy chow who was also in many films with jackie and sammo. Billy had a 48-3 boxing record and became muay thai champ and then he and benny fought. It was a solid fight.

Lastly benny has a loss and its on utube. Benny recieves the loss by decision and walks out before they finish anounces it. It reminds me of rickson gracie saying he has over 1000 matches where he hasnt lost. Benny didnt look good in western movies cause they were terrible movies and they never showed his abilties.

Also benny says in another interview that he and jackie got along so well that he was asked by jackie to be in dragons forever. That was by benny in in the behind the scenes dragons forever. Benny also said that Jackie told him to hit for real on everything except to the head. The kicks to the head are also real, they wear a special synthetic shoe so that it doesn't hurt.

Have you seen jackie chans, my stunts documentarys. He shows the shoes your talking about and they also use them in wrestling but they still hurt when you get hit. Its like when you get his when wearing head gear in boxing. It helps but you still get hurt.

Good commentary, bub. Most people really don't really get into this stuff, even for movies this good. The only thing I disagree with, and no disrespect, but I thought the chair was a nice touch. Jackie is the master of props after all. Granted, he could have made it funnier.

In the 80's i lost a rare full contact competition on vhs. A few famous film fighters on there fighting for real (full contact) who all lost. Jackie Chan was the only known international fighter who won. His opponent was taken out on a stretcher with broken bones, semi-concess, true! Jackie is a good actor and not a big guy but in his prime i think he would have given Benny a run for his money for real. I can't remember the name of this video, if anyone knows please let me know.

For all intents and purposes, they're both martial artists and they're both equals...their motivations and how they started training is just different, that's all.

If anything from what we've seen in Jackie's movies (idk if he fights like that elsewhere) is that he really knows how to use his surroundings to his advantage. Use a bench as a complex weapon, wall jump, ect. The list goes on.
