I love how people bitch that this game sucks because they took the guns away from the spies... The result is, the game is WAY more balanced, and the spies can't go Rambo and speedrun the game anymore. BIG Improvement. Spies should be stealthy, agile, and careful... Mercs should have always been the only ones with guns.

On demo its way easier all the merc do is coming like a kamikaze with their lights on when your hacking a data and they just teamkill or suicide then they goes micro buging like they got a loud sound like BzzZzZzt that can just knock off your ear and of course they ragequit after all by the way there is a strategy that always work : having a lure spy and another one to disable and kill the soldier because he will always go for the most dangerous of your team (the one with most hacked data)

I was all about this game on the 360.

Never played Chaos' multiplayer, but it seems that spies with guns is just overkill against mercenaries.

I felt like DA was perfectly balanced. Great times. My favorite was playing against the hardest bots who would just lob a grenade at your ass from across the map. Lot's of laughing in that game. Miss it.

This was the best version of spy vs mercs in my opinion i liked chaos theory's but it never hooked me as much. but this was way simpler that made it way more complex. plus i own in this.

theres 2 multiplayer modes confirmed in conviction, co op and deniable ops in deniable ops its not just you and the other person trying to kill one another, there are NPC's gaurding the area searching for you guys so you have to have caution. i think you don't have any guns in deniable ops either so no cheap headshotting the other player from 60 meters away :] those are the ones confirmed, there might be others, so dont give up hope of agent vs merc yet

@Yumazae No you got it all wrong, deniable ops is just game types such as hunter and infiltration and co-op is a story mode with two players.

Nope, no Versus mode. Co-op mode, but thats a couple hours of gameplay. No Merc vs. Spy anymore, so we should all boycot it :P The dumbest desicion ever to not have merc vs. spy in a splinter cell game..
