Just as an alternative to battering your mouse off of the table, consider cleaning the contacts on both the mouse and the base station.

It just did the job for me about 10 minutes ago.

Btw this is fault with the charging dock and not the mouse :)

Think mine had a dodgy cap and the voltage was going from 9v to 9.3v so resistors stabilized this, 9v is also overvolting as well bringing the voltage down is all that is needed :D

was playing up doing the same thing and it starting working for 4months so I left it, anyway last week it started again and left me with 20% battery all week, I went and got 3x10 Ohm resistors;

Brown-Black-black-Gold and soldered them in a row from the circuit board to the end of the + wire and its fixed =)

jeah i hve the some probleme xD but i have my mouse since 5 days not charged and my mouse have since 5 days 5% akku ever and a day they have the mouse 0% but the mouse works ..... i think the mouse was overcharged and thy mouse must jet endcharged complet . also endcharged bis the mouse have no power ( my tip : when akku empty make the mouse off wait a few minutes make turn the mouse on and show what say the akku when akku complet empty chargen

also had this problem. recognized that it seems to be a simple "memory effect". have you tried to use it as long the battery is completely empty? after that i was able to recharge it as it should be. Never got that bug again since i behave like that.

i have the mx revolutions mouse and i tried everything to make it work.. nd as a last resort i even took the charging unit apart and realised theres nothing in there! .. just before i was about to pack the moust away for good i decided to smash it around a bit and put it back in the charger.. it fucking charges now :|.. honestly hit it a little if its not charging...

Whacking it on the desk a few times did work. Even the switch between the two scrolling modes works again. They should add that to there manual.

Give your mouse a simple "gentle" slam on your desk and put it back on the charger...it worked for me...if you don't believe me go to google and type "easy fix for logitech mx revolution not charging"...it's the phototropic website and if you read the posts you'll see that it worked for many as well...but I do advice you don't slam your mouse too hard for obvious reasons...hope this helps

I managed to get hold of a replacement charging station and that fixed the problem - seems like the problem was with the station and not the mouse.

remove the big pad and the 2 lower pads under the mouse to unveal philips head screw. Unscrew them. Gently pull up the top of the mouse,be careful there is a wire connected to the top part. Remove the battery and plug it back.

You may also clean your charge station. Mine had some dirt in it.

Sorry for the late answer if you haven't already fix your prob but I just fix my mouse at the moment and I would like to share my solution with other. I also considering buy an replacement g7 mouse battery

ive had this problem with every logitech mouse that uses the cradle since 2002 (ive been thru probably 3 mx700s), and for some odd reason im still buying logitech mice. usually you have to play with the mouse and the contacts on the cradle before you catch a charge.

i had this my my logitech mx700.. the contacted somehow displaced so they got extremely hot so much so the plastic around the contacts expanded.. so to keep it to charge i had to cut some of the plastic off! in the red it just stayed flashing red.. not good to see similar problem still... was going to buy logitech but i think ill stick with razer.

If you can apply about 4.0V to the cradle, you will be able to charge it. Once you charge it full, you may connect the A.C. adaptor to the charge stand.

before you toss it, crack it open and see what kind of battery it is, usually its generic, and you may have to do some soldering, but its better to pay $10 for a replacement battery than a new mouse.

Turn it Off clean the poles in charger and mouse and try again(it should not be charging when the mouse is on) it can distroy the batteri and cause problems

I had this problem (after cleaning the contacts and Logitech advised me to change the power source to the charger : the power bar to which it was connected is apparently failing due to age and it now charges fine from a wall socket . No need to replace : just have some patience with tech support !

Call Logitech 646-454-3200. I just did for mine.

It is a no-hassle replacement...just fax the receipt in (along with the reference number they will give you on the phone). They will ship the new one as soon as they get it.

I tried cleaning first....... didn't seam to work, than I rocked and quickly put it in and out of its cradle and that fixed it!
