You all left out my brother John Holliday died fed 17 2004 stabbed and was tried to been covered up with a house fire but it did not reach him, yet the cops did nothing to find who was responsible . Edmonton cops need to do their jobs.

What is the reason for all these murders? Why does Edmonton have double the homicides of Vancouver or Toronto? It's not always the Natives like some people generalize. The thing that makes Edmonton stand out is that crime happens to innocent people whereas in other cities crime happens to criminals.
@stacks909 Actually he's right. He's referring to per-capita statistics for 2008. According to the statistics it's the Indian gang activity coming from Hobema and Saddle Lake First Nations reserves. It spreads to Edmonton.
