Thanks both, yeah the music works well. It was what I was listening to as we were winding through the hills on a bus journey from Vientiane in Laos to Hanoi. Always reminds me of Vietnam now. Your right though, its heavily associated with the war along with Jimi Hendrix et al. Just in case you don't know: The 2nd track is 'Hong Kong Lullaby' by an English band called 'I Am Kloot, the third is coldplay (obviously) and the 4th is Arcade Fire.
Great choice of music. This song by the Stones dates from the thick of the Vietnam conflict. For Americans like me who were kids at the time, the Vietnam War was just one part of the entire world scene. The music fits.
