I can so hear his range, soulfulness and softness. I can also hear his rawness and overall talent as well. Roland has done the same as Curt in where Roland plays with his voice too. These are very talented men. They bring major mixes of emotion to their music as a group and in their solo work. Now, that is what it means to know yourself as an artist and person, even if you are searching for a better or different way to get there.. TFF, "They're More Than An Addiction"!!!!

I, aswell, totaly agree with you. Just becouse an album doesn't sell doesn't mean it's crap, as most people seems to believe. I myself thinks it's great, from what I've heard of it. A little more advertising for it and it may have been a slighter greater success. Bet then again, all is not about success here in life.

Sounds pretty good to me, I would get this album if I could. Whilst I love TFF I always felt a bit uneasy about the way Curt got more and more marginalised after The Hurting. Glad they got back together.
Anyway I read once there was a track on this album that was a "How Do You Sleep?"/"Fish Out of Water" kind of thing about Roland, which track was that?
That would the bardic duel enacted in Curt's "Sun King" (on the Mayfield album, not SOB) and Roland's "Fish Out of Water' (on Elemental). They're both great songs.
This song aged better than I would have thought at the time it was released. I think people were comparing Elemental and SOB too closely, and SOB suffered for the comparison as Elemental is one of the greatest CDs of the 90s (and strangely overlooked for being so).
