This video makes me cry! and of course, although pricey but I will buy me a pair of shoes to help the cause. I too once was barefoot and know what it's like. Thank you Toms for bringing shoes to the needy. This is what it's all about and I know not of any other company that does this. When I wear my Toms, It will be nice to know someone else who did not have shoes, has some now thanks to my purchase and your generosity. God bless you.

Everyone who wears toms should seriosly google "The problem with TOMS". What TOMS is doing is amazing, but there are so many better ways they could go about what they are doing. Don't let that stop you from buying shoes, but raise awareness to some of the criticisms of TOMS shoes.

Okay So I think it is GREAT what TOMS shoes are doing...but think about it, shouldn't they be giving them big shoes or shoes that expand? The kids they give them to will likely grow out of them within the year or maybe even less time!

This commercial actually answered a question I had. I had always thought that the quality of the TOMS we buy weren't really suitable for kids living in tougher, more rural conditions. I see now that the shoes they donate look more durable.

They're made in China, Ethiopia, and Argentina.

The shoes are mainly for children without shoes. Chances are, the people working at the factories are required to have shoes. Plus, they get paid. The shoes go to people who absolutely can't afford it.

I found that the leather ones wear out more easily. :/
