  • U.S.A !!!!!!

  • Ron Paul 2012!!

  • wow

  • DIE HARD III

    Une journée en enfer .....

  • @tinasaturn yeah, when the bad guys are assaulting Fort Knox =)

  • When Johnny comes marching home again

    Hurrah! Hurrah!

We'll give him a hearty welcome then

    Hurrah! Hurrah!

The men will cheer and the boys will shout

The ladies they will all turn out

    And we'll all feel gay

    When Johnny comes marching home.

  • yes yes they saved France. And once it was saved they did what? they settled and have imposed their culture to us, the result is crap. What America has done is the past, today they are rotting our life. Fortunately Charles DeGaulle put you out of France

  • @ZackBlades When the hell did America 'settle' in France? When did that happen? What the fuck is this demented idiot talking about? Yeah, let's all be thankful for French 'culture'. Which has given the world -- what, exactly?

  • We will have peace when USA and all capitalists will be defeated!! We will have peace when governments have realized that the only money that has being in this world is not a piece of gold but a big chunk of compassion for his neighbor! The last war is againt you Americans!! Death to the invaders!!

  • @ZackBlades 'Death to the invaders'? When Germany invaded France 71 years ago, Americans died to liberate it. They're still buried in cemetaries there today. They never got to come home. Which is what this song is about, dumbass. They died just so decadant idiots like you can continue your pathetic existance. If 'the last war' really is against us Americans, we can count on the French to surrender in the first few weeks. Like they always do.

  • @2008natlchamps I don't care about what americans have done in the WW2 and WW1. America is a big shit in the world what must disappear. You are the cause of all our troubles!!

  • @ZackBlades Of course you don't 'care about what Americans have done in the WW2 and WW1'. Because you're all a nation of arrogant, decadent, ungrateful, whining assholes. The U.S. is the cause of 'all your troubles'? America made France into a nation of arrogant, decadent, ungrateful, whining assholes? Really? How did we do that?

  • @2008natlchamps Germans should have won

  • @ZackBlades Hey, I think I'll go find a French patriotic song on YOUTUBE. So I can insult France, wish for the French nation to 'die', and blame all of my troubles on it. Yeah! That will really make me feel important! On second thought, maybe I won't. Because I'm not a decadent, infantile, ungrateful, whining, wretched, inconsequential little asshole. And only a decadent, infantile, ungrateful, whining, wretched, inconsequential little asshole does shit like that. Right?

  • to have peace you must 1st prepaire for war

  • vive l'Amérique !! Que Dieu soit toujours avec elle !!

  • @SenhorPatriota Fuck your mom with a 10 foot pole.

  • BRASIL ACIMA DE TUDO! BRASIL ACIMA DE TUDO! BRASIL ACIMA DE TUDO! BRASIL ACIMA DE TUDO! BRASIL ACIMA DE TUDO! BRASIL ACIMA DE TUDO! BRASIL ACIMA DE TUDO! BRASIL ACIMA DE TUDO! • Is this song in a minor key

  • One of the best, if not the all time best of military music. Bar none

  • "The ants come marching one by one, hurrah! Hurrah!"

    Lol. :3

  • Gracias,Comprende

  • Sounds like a Scottish original?

  • @RasMajnouni Irish

  • When Johnny comes marching home again,

    Hurrah! Hurrah!

We'll give him a hearty welcome then

    Hurrah! Hurrah!

The men will cheer and the boys will shout

The ladies they will all turn out

    And we'll all feel gay,

    When Johnny comes marching home.

  • @bullyboy1863 and lets not mistake the gay for being bad but the orginal happy

  • @davvvvo Yeah. That's what the original term of the word "gay" means. Happy.

  • some people says that usa is the babylon of revelation..dressed in red color..

  • @fetchdafish Considering the fact that it isn't an Empire I'm not sure how they will look at that one... Empire denotes one absolute figure of importance e.g. Queen Victoria - British Empire, Sultan Mehmed II - Ottoman Empire, Kaiser Wilhelm I - German Empire and so on...

  • I prefer when Dropkick Murphys sing then

  • I think this may be most most favorite U.S. Military "Marching Music" song. It has a... "battle in the dead of winter" feel. Does that make sense?

  • Johnny I hardly knew ya...

  • 1st that came to mind:

The ants came marching one by one, hoorah, hoorah....

  • I'm not American but the flag on the video makes me wanna salute it.

  • great irish tune.

  • I wish peace upon all of you.

Not like the hippie peace, but the Jesus peace, or the peace through superior firepower.

  • @JohnRobertPosey and some big ass bombs!

  • peace

  • Dieu Protège l'Amérique !!

Moi Français, prêt à me battre pour l'Amérique mais pas cette France minable !!

  • Ah. One of my favorites. Still, nothing compared to Germany's. And don't you guys go shitting on me for this. You guys have the giant military broadsword, we have the just as equally sharp but smaller short sword.

  • 0:00-0:25: A small child sees a tiny dot in the sky and looks up inquisitively.

0:25-0:41: It gradually becomes clear that it is a fighter starship returning safely from the battle. Other people join the child in wonder.

0:41-0:58: The outline of an entire squadron appears in the mist and the people begin to rejoice.

0:58-1:15: A massive transport slowly begins to dock as people rush forward in ecstasy.

1:15-1:40: The rest of the fleet returns.

1:40-2:10: Return to child and fade to black.

  • God Bless America !!!!

  • @Ihateflagging123

    Vive l'Amérique !!

  • Now THAT is what I call military music. This one is great ! This is AWESOME ! That's what I want to hear !

  • Man, I love this song.

  • All I can think when listening this is: DIE HARD 3 ahahaha =))))

  • hey inst this the ants go marching in?

  • @TOC2525 "Ants go marching in" Is the same melody.

  • IIRC, Patrick Buchanan, the Irish American composer of this tune, said he was inspired by a negro minstrel song or something like that. There are claims that the pacifist version of this song known as "Johnny I Hardly Knew Ye" is the Irish original but this seems not to be true as there is no old record of that song in Ireland.

  • Wasnt this a Irish confederate tune?!?!?!

  • @Nerdcoreification It was Irish, but not confederate.

  • @Nerdcoreification idk, but im going to listen to johnny, we hardly knew ya by the dropkick murpheys after reading your comment

  • So,americans, sometimes you do a REALY strong thigs.I now, its irish antiwar song, but you make it...well...opposite and more, much more powerfull. This aggresive version more suite for you.Nice marsh, passionate and electrical.

  • This makes me proud to be a American.

  • @yvet935

    So it should.

  • epic

  • Listening to this makes me think of our founders, the strive we've fought to be what we are today, and there's yet lots to be conquered. I fucking love you AMERICA.

  • Jesus Christ people, can we all just ignore politics for a second and listen to the Goddamn song? :rolls eyes:

  • @Knobbyboy88

On the internet? Of course not. Here we can get on soap boxes and extol our arrogant views because people are forced to confront it.

  • Historians are going to find the American Empire a whole lot more interesting than Roman Empire.

  • @Fetchdafish And for many different reasons

  • @Fetchdafish they wont

  • @Fetchdafish the thing is America is considered the second Roma by many in the world, for many reasons, one we started a very similar fate, ruled by a stronger country, Revolutionary war, to a week republic, to a civil war, to a growing empire, to a Great Empire (America has just past this point,) Now is the time for the decline of the nation and it is starting with the infrastructure of the country just like Roma, then comes the inflation (your blind if you dont see this) then the end of Roma

  • @inailboards

What's even more interesting is the accelerated rate this has happened. Rome lasted nearly a thousand years, but it's possible the United States won't even last four hundred. The nature of nation-states these days seems to be that they burn themselves out faster than ever before. I would attribute this to the new expressions of parliamentary democracy. With so many votes to buy with so many pet projects, the money is just eaten up.

  • @Fetchdafish I totally agree, the light that burns twice as bright burns half as long, and when the next Roma comes, it will take this theory to a whole new level, i predict it will not even last 250 years

  • @inailboards

Unlike the Roman Empire, a collapse will be very difficult. Even Great Britain, in its decline, is still strong and it has lasted much longer than the US. Even that Norwegian country whose name eludes me, the one that went entirely bankrupt? It still exists.

In this day and age, it's a lot harder for a first world country to implode. Russia, while a shadow of itself, is still a force to be reckoned with.

  • @Mahbu you gotta remember Roma went bankrupt and it still existed, but at a lot less grand level, just like what happened with Britain in the 70's it was still the holder of the reserve currency of the world, and it went bankrupt, now most people just laugh at them when ever they see them (hi-pathetically, i am not one like that)

  • @inailboards

One of the fundamental things to consider is that there are no barbarians that would sack a weakened America. Even in financial crisis, the US is formidable and can beat anyone in a conventional war. An unconventional war is, realistically, only good for defense or supporting an offensive war by a conventional army.

The US neighbors are Canada, Mexico, and. . technically Russia. . and none of them are going to try and invade the US. We can joke about immigration but. .

  • @Mahbu i know where your coming from, but you got to see that once you loose your money, you military is f...ing screwed, most soldiers will not work without pay, we have to many vehicles that eat gas like the anteater eats the ants. Then you got the electricity with the oil on the field, and then you have to feed all the troops. The constitution also says we will not quarter soldiers in anyone home, foreign or native. and weaker armies means smaller nations.

  • @inailboards

I understand that, but the economies of countries are a bit different today, complex and interwoven with the other super powers today. If a country really wanted to, it could ignore its debts to other countries in some convoluted thing.

  • @Mahbu The country is called Iceland.

  • @inailboards I cannot possibly fathom you compare The United States with the Roman Empire, the roman empire forged civilization as you know it, from the way you speak, the way you write, the way you build a house, the way you build a city, you do it because the romans did it that way. What the hell did america give to civilization, you just got lucky Europe destroyed itself in wars during the 1900's, and got to be a superpower for 50 years, but remember EU today is the highest economy.

  • @stefanstalex First, in what sense is the EU the highest economy? America has the GDP, China has the Profit, and all the EU has is little Debt... because their economy is very very new... Second, I was not comparing Roma to the US in that sense... I was comparing them in historical patterns, infrastructure, wars and inflation (witch lead to its downfall) Third, America has been a superpower for 50 years, but the way we are structured, we will not loose that status for a very, very long time...

  • @inailboards As of 2011 The EU has the highest GDP, the highest export rate and the highest import rate and this is not including the imports and exports of countries within the EU, also the euro has the highest growth in use in international markets, has a stable value over the dollar as is currently becoming more and more independent of the dollar. Also there is China, Russia, Japan, so no there is no way America is in any way shape or form somehow similar to the Roman Empire.

  • @inailboards Also Rome's "downfall" as you call it wasn't quite a downfall since Rome remained the capital of the world all the way to Napoleonic era, and even today still has quite a firm grip over South America and other strong catholic countries via Vatican.

  • @Fetchdafish

It will be amazing after it takes over half the world.

  • @Fetchdafish who knows, both are really similar in fact

  • @spacewardsebas

    Uncannily similar.

  • @Fetchdafish For sure, I just hope we out last the romans

  • @MinisterKGB

aint happenin' boy, 2012 is nearing XD

Sure u will, as long as no atomic bombs are blown anywhere in the world

  • @44axel4 On the bright side if america falls we take the chinese and europe with us, We would sink their economies

  • @MinisterKGB

    Damn u MAD!!! damn u!!!

btw there aint no bright side of Nuclear bombs..

  • @44axel4 Actually The bright sid of a nuclear bomb is its only side

  • @Fetchdafish Hopefully a lot less bloody too

  • @lockhedp38

I think the United States government is responsible for about 26 million deaths throughout it's history. I believe that's more than Rome, but I don't know.

  • @Fetchdafish I imagine a robot-professor saying: "Slaves were common in ancient american times from around the mid 21st century and afterwards, they were mostly brought from the provinces of New Persia, Korea-Manchuria and Mexico...".

  • @DerFeindr

    Hehehehe...

  • @Fetchdafish We may be nowhere as old as them....... But we hold a military power that even if Rome was here today, they would find astonishing...... We have done more to grow society in 200 years than they did in 1000 years.....

  • @Fetchdafish

It's odd that most Americans would claim they fought the revolution to escape Imperialism, and yet some propagate the notion that America has become imperialist, with pride.

  • @TheDarkFrontier Imperialist? Excuse me, but every nation we have invaded, we haven't annexed it into our empire. We also do not strip nations of resources either. Afghanistan for example, the only major export there is drugs.

  • @trivipesnipe

Really? And what about all of the Indian nations that the US invaded, annexed it into its territory, forced them onto reservations? As I recall, hunters hunted the Buffalo virtually into extinction, forcing the Indians to conform to US laws and customs, including trade, eventually assimilating them. And no, in Iraq and the Middle East, the US Gov. is trying to install puppet, pro-Western democracies, as per its Cold War slant on world politics. More insidious than conquering, imo.

  • @TheDarkFrontier I mean in modern times. All nations have committed atrocities, and you can't always judge actions in the past with the morals of today.

  • @TheDarkFrontier Indian nations? maybee you are confusing the US for the UK who invaded india.

  • @AirForcedude5

Nope, I'm pretty sure the US conquered several Indian nations, also known as the Plains Indians or Native Americans. Such tribes include the Sioux, Pawnee, Tecumseh's Confederacy, among others. All of which were forced off of their land.

  • @TheDarkFrontier

And it happened pretty quickly. "Ten thousand miles from tip to tip."

  • @Fetchdafish American ,,empire'' -200 years

    Roman Empire 10 centuries

Bulgarian Empire 13 centuries! so shut up, everyone knows how great America is.... :x just listen to the song and enjoy.....

  • @americaneza

I didn't even know there was a Bulgarian empire, and specifically I don't even know what the heck you're griping about.

  • @Fetchdafish check Wikipedia you mf! :x

  • @LeoTV100

Who the hell are you and what is your problem with me?

  • @Fetchdafish shut up, намажи си с вазелин гъза и се хвани за палците на краката

  • @Fetchdafish намажи гъза си с вазелин и се хвани за палците на краката....

  • Semper Fi, Oorahh to all the marine serving. Also Everyone other Person in a Military Branch I wish the best for you in.. PEACE OUT!!

  • @thehalo3godz Hooah! Army

  • funny at the russian march music theres only bad things to say like amarica never did something wrong i mean the US didnt even care about europe then all of a sudden they get attacked then they go in and takes all the honor stars and stribes forever indeed

  • Hello & best wishes to our wonderful US Allies .. from Down Under, here in Australia .. 'Oz' to we Aussies ...

  • This country is going through tough times now, but we have been through worse. By the grace of our creator, the American spirit is made of stern stuff and will outlast adversity. Right now, there are people in power trying to compromise the spirit of this country, but through this too our country will overcome. I thank my creator for being born in this country.

  • @Metool2

    Your parents?

  • @SolidenX God. Just using the more neutral term creator to acknowledge a wider possibility for others who might feel similar opinions. Saying Creator allows a person to think God, Allah, Buddha, or even nature itself.

  • @Metool2

So, your parents? Your parents shagging made you. I'm pretty sure you weren't assembled in some cloud factory in the sky.

  • @SolidenX So your taking a jab at me for trying to be sensitive to others?

  • @Metool2 Why do you think America is going through tough times now. I think it was worse at the time when this song was written. The American Civil War was a time that set family against family. If you see a vet, ask him about it.

  • @SugarTomAppleRoger As I said in my post, I know out country has been through worse. My dad and brother are both soldiers right now, and i'm proud of the both of them.

  • @Metool2 ACtually, I cannot think of when times were better for the USA. You seem to be going from strength to strength. I see your dad and brother are soldiers. Lets hope the country stays out of nasty wars, like you have since 1945.

  • @Metool2

While I can't say I share the wishy washy religious stuff, I can agree people are trying to compromise the spirit of this country. They always are, though. It's just how it is. When it's a two party system and the two parties vehemently hate each other, it's bound to happen. It's nice that Obama tries to include the other side in the matter. Too bad they just flip him the bird. x:

  • @Mahbu It'd b e nice if he did try to include them. But he doesn't. Their just an obstacle to him, and he does a good job of keeping them out of everything so he doesn't have to compromise. Take a look at the health care debate. He calls them in to specifically b e able to talk, and the entire meeting their only allowed to speak 1/3rd the time, and everytime they brought up facts that pointed out flaws, he just brushed them off without even trying to address the flaws.

  • @Metool2

Of course they're an obstacle. They refuse to be anything but. They try to stonewall him constantly, try to discredit him, fight him tooth and nail not because there are better alternatives but because it's HIM coming up with it. 1/3rd of the time? Maybe. But of that? Nothing worthwhile. And these facts? Skewed but then everyone does that on capital hill so I suppose that is irrelevant.

  • @Mahbu He doesn't let them be anything. He tries to push an agenda that is opposed to everything they believe in, that they truly believe is bad for this country, that is entirely partisan, and when they disagree? He just brushes them off. He's like a child that wants to take his ball home if he doesn't get his way in a game. And they pointed out the flaws in the bill which are coming out NOW. That the bill is going to cost WAY more than he sold it as, and ruin health services.

  • @Metool2

Maybe. I don't think he has done it, at least not nearly as bad as presidents before him which is something people have quickly forgotten. Bush, for instance, was much worse in this regard and he may not even be the chief example. But! So many things he did were opposed and yet when ever someone called foul when they were disregarded, they were quickly dismissed as unamerican, etc. In my opinion, it's just exaggeration and bias of the other side. It always is, GOP or Dem.

  • @Mahbu But did Bush ever force something through in such a partisan way? Even the Iraq war had Democrat support, and then they changed their minds when we were in deep and couldn't pull out without leaving a power vacuum. I'm still young, I'm only 25, and only really know presidencies back to Clinton. But I just think Bush was treated horribly out of proportion for what he did, but I see Obama getting away with practically everything without a peep. It just gets to me, ya know?

  • @Metool2

Actually, yeah, I think Bush was worse. If Obama's stuff fails? Maybe we pay more taxes. Maybe we lose some jobs. Maybe we have to work out health care and all that even more. . That's all bad and annoying and frustrating, sure, but it isn't two different wars that are dragging on or any scandal about torture or scandal regarding intelligence agencies. No one would be dying if Obama's stuff flounders.

  • @Mahbu yea, BUSH WAS HORRIBLE!

  • @gtaisawesome87

He was horrible, yes. Far worse than Obama and how his opponents view him. Even so, we could always do worse. Love or hate Obama and Bush, they are a far cry from true tyranny.

They are no Stalins or Hitlers. They certainly aren't Saddam. It's poor judgment to confuse bad leadership with genuine malice and evil.

  • @Mahbu - Well said

  • @gtaisawesome87 You think Obama is better ?

  • @PekRaimund hell yes

  • @gtaisawesome87

Obama has done 10x the damage bush did. and bush did alot of damage to civil liberties.

  • @CarbonRoc so what did obama do, huh? obama is actually trying to help the economy and healthcare, and all bush did was start a war

  • @gtaisawesome87 Obama got the peace prize and shortly thereafter, escalated the war in Afghanistan...

  • @RazrBlayde Not to be racist, but the only reason he got it was because he was black.

  • Here I thought it was because he has an Ipod and his family goes to movies and everyone seems to give a shit about him like he's a movie star and not a politician...

  • @CarbonRoc Just wait until the next president. They keep getting worse and worse after Monroe they all where bad in someway. Now they are EVIL bad. If we could only have Washington back as king I would be happy. He would clean up Washington on Saturday and on Sunday the nation would be glorious again.

  • @PekRaimund

Well, what do you define as better?

Not a whole lot has happened under Obama. Things haven't gotten worse, that's for sure, though it can be argued whether or not things got better to any degree. Still. Going even is better than going negative which was a lot better than Bush who did get us into war and who did nothing to help our economy which, before he got his hands on it, was in surplus.

  • @Mahbu Congress is in charge of the econamy...

  • @XxxSakura101

If you want to get technical, yes, the government does control the economy. Rather, branches of it do. However, also keep in mind that often times people with similar interests are put in power by the efforts of their peers through campaigning and contributions. So in essence, it falls on Bush. Or more precisely, the Bush administration. He at the top and all his "cronies" beneath him. Bush, I suppose, or using the name of any president is simply a blanket for the administration.

  • @Metool2

The only way he's "getting away" with anything is because he has majority power and utilizing the powers he was granted. Which then isn't his fault but the fault of people who put him and the others in power. And if more favor him, is that so wrong that he doesn't need the Republicans? Either way. . he has yet to, from my understanding, alter the structure in any way to give him more power which Bush did do.

  • @Mahbu ... Wow. I mean. Wow. 'maybe we pay more taxes'. I'm sorry, but that's just about the most misinformed thing i'v ever heard. What's going to happen is the country will likely go broke, and/or the average citizen (currently children) will spend most of their time working JUST to pay back the debt,
