Why does everyone have to criticize Terminator Savation? It takes place in 2018, 11 years before the future war scenes we see in T1 and T2, the resistance and skynet havnt aqquired plasma rifles yet because they havn't been invented seriously people they are just movies! I think out of the lot this theme remains the best!! Filmwise it is T1, T2, T4 and T3. I enjoy all the films can't wait for 5 and it better have "phased plasma rifle in 40 watt range" and carnage like the future we see in the first 2. T4 happened 2018 and the future war scenes happen in 2029

i saw T2 in 1989 when it hit the movies! It was my freshman year in high school, and I can remember standing on line at the box office for 4 hours to get tickets! Myself and 3 of my closest friends went, and when the theme music started to play in the begining of the movie everyone stood up and applauded! T2 was the one of the best action movies i had ever seen! I'm 35 now and these memories live with me!

The 3rd one to me was alright, even though the story was a complete rehash of the 2nd one, but the action was great. Salvation was kind of boring and full of plot holes though. People take movies like these seriously because they're more than entertainment; they're art and classic stories.

The reason why between the first and last two films are separated by most fans is because they had nothing in common. The Second film was going to b the last because they had a scene were Sarah is in a park in a future were Skynet and the war did not occur. But the scene was left out and hen James sold his franchise to a bunch of geeks who conceived T3 and T4.

Well because the series is so popular and if you think about it Judgement Day had to happen because Kyle traveled back in time and John was born.If JD never happened, then the events of first movie wouldnt have happened either.

Anyway whitout Camerons direction T3 and especially T4 werent nearly as good as the first two and if they are still going to do 2 more movies, I dont have high expectations for those 2 either.If only Cameron would have directed them,they would have been so much better =(

@Jesthor Agreed. This ending was perfect, purely perfect. Even T2 degraded the series just a tiny bit. It's a good sequel, but should have never been made. And I love all four films, but just watching The Terminator, it makes me sad they continued it. It begins with the war. And ends with the war. Even the final credits say it. The final battle should've ended with this film. The ending showed the picture, which meant the war would still happen, John would be born, and the coming storm. Perfect.

Usually when a movie goes to the credits, I just either watch it because it has some kind of special scene during the credits, or I just stop the movie, cause I don't want to watch the whole credits (No special scene, no scene after credits, no nothing, just the music).

Actually, they're doing only two more Sequels, to bring the film count to 6 and conclude the Terminator Saga. They have confirmed that the 6th and final film will see the war between Skynet and Mankind finally end. Christian Bale has signed on for the two films, to once again portray John Connor.
