Smoke is still useful at night as it blocks thermal images and passive IR devices. It also blocks things as simple as a flood light to cover movement.

Amnesty has never had any military expertise, they work on different field. They also use locals as sources so their credibility is zero. As for the press, they don't have their own people in the field and their only sourcess are Hamas controlled.

1) It is perfectly legal to use it as anti-personell weapon, just not when civilians are in danger.
2) Those rounds used in Gaza were smoke rounds, those in this video are incendiary rounds (the kind that is intended for killing instead of just making lot of smoke).
3) Acording to Amnesty there was some 1400 dead, about 900 of them listed as civilians, including ~300 children and 115 woman. 96+% my ass!

For your info, Singapore has twice as high population density, why they live much better there (my guess: they WORK A LOT, unlike lazy arabs). There is no international law that country should allow foreigners to enter it, thus why Israel can't keep its Gaza border closed? Also, there is Gaza-EGYPT border, who's keeping it closed? Surely this can't be Israel.

Your argument goes against you. Why should Palistinans allow foreigners to enter it? If you look at the map of the 1948 United Nations partition you would see that half the area israle occupies is Palistine. Egypt and Israel both have a lot to answer for when it comes to human rights

Israel didn't start those wars where they occupied those territories you are talking about. And they did give Suez back to Egypt because Egypt promised to play nice. BTW. Egypt didn't want Gaza back, so it is Israel's now.
As for human rights: Name a one Arab country that doesn't have anything to answer? Israel and Egypt are pretty moderate in these things.

Gaza is not Israels, it is part of Palistine, which is a nation that has been illeagaly occupied by Israel since 1968. I know Israel did not start the 1967 War, but you can not holdTerritory indefanently. The UN, which created Israel has passed constant refarendems to get israel to end the occupation.

@Highice007 Palestine has never existed! Israel did occupy parts of Egypt, Jordania and Syria. Possibly Lebanon too, but that happened mostly later.
Syria used Golan to fire rockets and artillery at Israeli civilians all the time untill Israel invaded it. Jordania lost west bank because they used it to attack Israel and i haven't heard that they would want it back.

In addition, the war being fought in 1967 does not justify the use of chemical weapons on civilians, WP is for use as a smoke screen, or spotter mark, not to be used in mass on civilian. Israel is commiting genocide and ethnic clensing. THats a crime, so says the organization that created the Israelie state

Eventually you must give it back because it is not yours, and also leads to aniamosity. For instance after the first World War the French took over the Rhineland in Germany causing the Germans to be bitter and was on of the contributing factors to having them elect one of the most evil leaders in history.

So you are willing to commit a crime against humanity? I am not a combatant nor in conflict with you. To target a civilian or family is a criminal act. To criticize a weapon because it is effective is folly to say the least. Once the threshold of war is crossed you will be involved with the organizations you are sided with or elected.

One other point is that to kill civilians in the pursuit of a combatant is not a crime. You just can not target them. To fire a unguided/ controlled weapon into a civilian area is a crime. As Hamas is an elected sovereign body. To fire a single rocket is an act of war. There is no proportion in war only winners and losers.

The truth is that both the Geneva and Hague conventions have two purposes. 1. To prevent the suffering of combatants after they no longer affect the outcome of a conflict and to prevent civilian casualties. To hide among civilians or civilian structures brings them into the conflict. The crime is not committed by the side that ignores civilians but rather the side that uses them as a tool of war.

Calling Hamas the 'aggressor' is undignified. The Gaza strip is little more than a large Israeli concentration camp, in which Palestinians are attacked at will, starved of food, fuel, energy--even deprived of hospital supplies. They cannot come and go freely, and have to build tunnels to smuggle in the necessities of life. It would be difficult to have any respect for them if they didn't fire a few rockets back.
