  • "You Clean it"

Lol Guess so. I got to where I knew when my little baby robin was about to go, and would just hold him over the nest I made for him and shredded new newspaper each day. When I wanted him on my shoulder, I just used washcloths I'd never use for myself, and they were easy to pick out because they were very mediocre little things.

  • How are the parents so tame? Did you have them from birth as well? I knew someone who had a lovebird for 11 years who was very tame social and friendly, but when I see them at the pet store they're petrified of people.

  • @kochirakoso The parents are tame because in our home they have nothing to fear. In a petstore fear is everywhere.

  • i won"t have the heart to give away my birds was it hard to give them away

  • Hi! You know the black beak that some lovebirds have... What exactly is it.. Is is just like that depending on what type the lovebird is??

  • Congrats!!! Keep up the good work!

  • ya i have 2 lovebirds there 6 months old and they don't like me very well =( but hopefully they will love me to BIG TIP FOR CBABYS IF YOU HOLD THEM EVERY DAY THEY WILL START TO LOVE YOU MORE

  • hi! I Just got an 8 week old baby cremino lovebird (female) and her name is skippy! I love her lots and she is hand tamed, however i introduced her to her new home and big cage =) At the moment she is still getting use the the big change and she isn't yet coming to me on her own and is a little skittish around me =( I'm trreating the bird with lots of care so far...she will get use to me and come to me eventually...wont she?

  • Hopefully. It depends on how she was raised, how patient, and how much time you can put into her. There is never a guarantee with these little boogers. That's why we raise ours the way we do, so they aren't skiddish from the start. I always lean towards "most likely she will get used to you and come."
