opener isn't very effective as you use a global on your cheap then have to garrote off that, the mage will always be able to blink away if they're spamming it.

Garrote is a shorter duration.. Plus I'm not even sure you can trinket Garrote.. Blind is 7 seconds.. Garrote 4.. So do the math.. Plus just freeze him in place with elemental when garroted.

Ok, last one. Why should the mage trinket on blind and not on the garrote, cheap shot combo? The pet is always on you so you can't restealth anyway.

Speaking as a rogue who has been playing since b.c. I used to love all the different things I could do to beat mages. Then when Blizz nerfed deadly throw I was thrown off and had trouble dueling and vsing mages in general ever since. Shortly after this video I dueled an equally geared frost mage and won. While winning certainly isn't why I play the game it does make it a little more fun, so I wana thank you for giving me the opportunity to win. You rock man!

This doesn't work vs most good mages on my server... they just spam blink when they get sapped... There's no way to dance+garrote before they pull it off, since shadowdance gives you a 0.5sec delay to start with (maybe I need to change the default bars with an addon) :P
