Awful. Dull. Lauren Graham and Oliver Platt have ruined these amazing songs and characters with lifeless, unimaginative interpretations. I am so glad they did not receive Tony Award nominations for this disaster. Don't expect to see much video of this pair on stage -- the production team is keeping it tight so no one sees this fiasco -- not only they suck, but this entire staging as well.

I agree with you on the headliners, they could of cast more talented performers, HOWEVER Lauren and Oliver come with the persona their characters have (also their names draw in people who otherwise would probably not come to the theatre) Lauren I believe is actually very good for someone with as little show experience as she has. And I found her to be an awesome fit for this part personally. Oliver was good but your description of a "unimaginative interpretation" would best be suited for him

gosh, lauren...i love u to death, you are one of my favorite all time actresses, comedians, etc...but, not my favorite singer.
