Red crab fishermen dont have to sort their crabs the way we have to, we have to cut evry crabs claws, we get 12 ton -every crab must be cut , you guys count an forget them.

Thats what we use in Scotland for brown crab & lobster & velvet crab. Mainly crab though & it is hard going. You get muscles doing this job....

i started that young in skinningrove in north yorkshire we used 25 on a fleet with 10 fleets four bowed pots not 3 like in this video good days, that was in the early eighties i then started working from whitby 80 pots in a fleet and 10 fleets very hard work but paid well, but not so good for your body too much wear and tare lol
