There's a few sad little puppies out there that don't enjoy anything....to have a good soul you rejoice in someone having fun and making a good living...being a snot means you have snot in you...blow it out. Be happy. 'nuff about that, it's time to rock and roll!
I think it's funny that most folks don't realize I perform nationally, coast to coast as over 50 different stars and have been at this fun for over 25 years. It's been a very good living as this is all I do, taken me on a virtual working vacation to all the great tourists places like Orlando, Las Vegas, NYC, Las Angeles, Atlanta, Wash DC, and made many many friends with a lot of great people who enjoy my appearances....Check out my many "TBC Stars" in my YouTube channel, TBCSTARS !!!
Good stuff, Tim. We need to get you to STL for a show. Your Casino........is that one of the Revolution editions? I'm happy with mine although the P90 pickups sound a bit dull through a vox......not quite the same sound I was looking for. I hope Real Love is in your catalog.....and not the anthology version.....the lennon version is much better
@Rykru and a hello to you! Actully that is a straighout out Casino, and there's a story to it to, later. If you'd like to see it closer, it's in my other Youtube Lennon video, use this search term - John Lennon Impersonator TBCSTARS-Gram Video Greeting .....I'd post the direct link, however it sometimes won't work through Youtube that way..
Thanks, "mom2huskies!" I liked your "Got To Get You Into My Life" item on your channel...When I have my duo show, "Lennon & McCartney-The 60's Beat" (Bill Staley as 'McCartney" you see in the clips) I refer to that song as the song the Beatles would be playing in their Las Vegas show today had the group rejoined...wouldn't that have been grand?
That would have been cool. And, by the way I used to live in Las Vegas. I know they used to have an impersonators show at the Imperial Palace a few years back and I know they just opened a show on the strip I believe it is called Love if I remember right. John is my favorite Beatle but I love them all.
so is the same john in the mop top and suit the same guy who is hippie john?? and is that a paul mccartney impersonator with john and are they in a beatles tribute band now??
Yup yup, both are me-self!!! I also perform as Lennon "New York City" era... I've been a Lennon - look alike since I was 12. Yes, you see"McCartney" is named in the video, and he and I've been performing 15 years together in my show 'Lennon & McCartney-The 60's Beat....in fact we just had a big show last week!
Hi oonamega....Well, I may be in Dallas on Sept 9-10 but in another of my "Celebrity Stars" roles as 'Donald Trump"....if I knew I could have a gig in Dallas either the days before or after, I'd "come together" with my "John Lennon" gear..any Hard Rock Cafe's there in Dallas? I'd think so,. or maybe a big British pub?
Thanks Danny, most viewers never realize that I do over 50+ celebrity impersonations...Lennon just happenes to be one I've performed over 20 years now...again, thanks!
Hi there Tim, I am a real big John Lennon fan. I think u do a absolutely fantastuc job impersonation, this marvelous legend. I really hope u will come to New Zealand also. Plz let me know if u ever do come down under.
Thank you, JLW...I would truly enjoy a "Lennon" show (or my really big retro "Rock n Roll Heroes" TM show also featuring my "Buddy Holly, Jim Morrison, Roy Orbison, Neil Diamond, Rod Stewart, Tom Jones, Frankie Valli,Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis" of course!) in your beautiful New Zealand! Haven't been there yet, but hope there will be an opportunity soon, and thanks again for being a fan! ...I 'll surely let you know if New Zealand becomes a place to perform for me.
Hello itigalgal, Glad you liked it, it's always a pleasure to perform as such a world-wide recognized icon as 'Lennon.' ...No, nothing planned for a Israel performance yet, but you never know when a show producer will call wanting to add Israle or Italy to a schedule! Thanks again, and hope you'll also like my "Jim Morrison, Jerry Lee Lewis, Dean Martin, Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison,", etc, oh, yeah, "Rod Stewart" and 'Tom Jones," too, elsewhere on my TBCSTARS channe!
As in the video, I'm glad fans like my "drinking like a frog" funny lyricals for "A Hard Days Night" as it is very "Lennon" in that he would do this all the time with whismical trade-offs on lyrics,. Just in case you didnt know that, real Lennon was very much a jokester in his live shows It is a common natation in many works about him as a fun performer always...
Hey TK,thanks! I've had shows not too far from Winston Salem, one in Cary and another in Garner, NC , both Raleigh area. Your "Gabrielle" song pays a nice respect to Macca McCartney. Your situation with her reminds me of Rod Stewart's "You Wear It Well" as I perform that song when I transmute into "Rockin' Rod Stewart." As Rod's lyrics relates to his past yet present love, "I've been eating my heart out, trying to get a letter through"...keep trying to get her back in touch.
Hello Miniheli! Yes, of course! One of my favs to perform is "Watching the Wheels," also'Woman," "Whatever Gets You Through The Night," and many more... I don the "New York Years' look of jeans, t-shirt and sock hat, which is very comfortable, but this appeals primarily to the "Lennon" fans of "Double Fantasy," "Walls & Bridges," "Mind Games" works...
I'd like to see you live. Maybe come to Atlantic City, NJ?? There's a Hard Rock Cafe there too at the Taj Mahal. I Love John and my fav song is Imagine!
Hi Heidi, I'd love to see you live, too! Har -har - har and Yeah yeah yeah, "Imagine" is also one of my favs....I've performed 5 times at Fort Dix/ Maguire AFB near Atlantic City, so maybe Taj HRC will be soon. I also did a show recently in Ringwood, NJ, on the lake there...tell me more about your "Lennon" connection.
Not yet! Hard Rock Cafe "Live" at Universal Studio's CityWalk in Orlando had me perform twice for their corporate clients, with a reception in their special "Lennon's Apartment" followed by private up-close concerts in their "Beatles Room," as you see in the video. I've also been sponsored twice by Hard Rock Cafe Cleveland, the "home of rock n roll" and also the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame at the big "Abbey Road on the River" Beatles Festivals, 2002 and 2003. Looking forward to future HRC gigs!
"On behalf of the group and ourselves," well, thank you!!! I was a "Lennon" look alike at the age of 12, the first kid (round my town)kicked out of school for having that 'awful Beatle hoodlum hair!"
Har Har, little did the ole crones realize that Rock n' Roll will keep you somewhat young...too bad they didn't taste it for themselves. Se my other "Lennon" piece on good ole youtube, too, where I'm reenacting the famous "Bed-In for Peace" snot between John and smirky ole Al Capp..
you actually sound like lennon i am super jels.

Well, 16 is good for "Johnny & the Moondogs," one of JL's earlier creative "rock n' roller" attempts. . . I got into the knack at age 12!
