Non of these are accidents. All of them were preventable, if people had follow basic traffic rules. In India, every venture on the road is a accident waiting to happen. Indians have no sense of right-of-way or yield. It is not just in traffic matters, rather in every walk of life. Indians never wait for their rightful turn.
I've come to think that it's because we use the horn a lot, you can't see 360 degs... but sure can hear your surrounding and react? and this is not just in that city, its all over the damn subcontinent! Well at least it's peaceful out here in the rural areas.
Please dont say things like how is India going to be a super-power with this chaos and all such stuff...Come to think of this-Inspite of all such chaos we are moving ahead like no other nation...Where else can you see people surviving in such chaos??Will the people of any other nation be able to put their city on the world-map inspite of having such problems??The answer is no,but we Bangaloreans have done it and we are proud of succeeding inspite of the hurdles faced by us everyday...
we got rules... most ppl feel that rules are more a suggestion than what shld be followed... its gettin worse now... i feel there should be more discretion when certifying drivers and riders....
I just returned from Bangalore today. Actually, the traffic there is quite astonishing and I doubt that there are many or few other cities in the world that rival the chaos of the streets there. However, the city is exploding and bursting in population and business. I don't think that western ideals of traffic rules and traffic flow would work in Bangalore. In fact, I think it would actually slow things down more!

When is India going to have traffic rules? When are Indians going to stop honking. Lot of noise pollution. Very sad.
