In point of fact, the CIA, the NSA, the FAA and NORAD had planned and trained for just such a possibility. Indeed, the record shows training exercises involving such a potential attack had in fact been carried on at the Pentagon in October, 2000 and May, 2001, and that NORAD had begun planning in July, 2001, for a training exercise in which the premise would be that a hijacked airliner was crashed into the World Trade Center.

i had a vague premonition of 9-11 during a gas tank demolition in maspeth, NYC 2 months before the wtc attacks. i had a VIP pass and watched next to rudy guiliani. when they collapsed, the sky momentarily got dark even though it was a mostly sunny morning.. and it wasn't because of dust or debris. something inhuman descended on the area long enough to announce to the dark recesses of my soul, "i exist.. and i will be back." i felt this foreboding." i felt this foreboding. i felt something was on its way that was going to change us forever. but it was fleeting and i turned to my ex-g/f with a frown and she looked back at me with the same expression. and that was the end of it. i always wondered if rudy felt what i felt at the time.
i recently found out that Controlled Demolition, Inc., who brought those tanks down, also handled the 9-11 clean up.

The reference is to WTC 7 which was not hit by a plane but also collapsed at free fall speed. Because the building spanned a crucial NYC electrical power plant the world's largest steel beam was ordered, manufactured and installed to assure that the building would "never collapse and disrupt NYC's disaster mgmt command center" or its financial swindlers..
So, either the architects are the dumbest bastards in the biz (WTC 7 collapsed because of a few sporadic fires?) or someone is lying.

@HOUNDDAWG Right! Debunker "experts" tell us how poorly WTC7 was designed. Wonder why no one noticed anything wrong with WTC7 BEFORE 9/11.... Even NIST has acknowledged that WTC7 dropped at free fall acceleration for 2.25 seconds or 25 meters. That fact means WTC7 suddenly lost 25 meters of vertical support from all over its base. Steel gradually weakened by fire won't explain it; the vertical supports were suddenly GONE from all over the base in about a half second.
