Yeah it's easier to ignore a set-up when your opponent plays it well. When he does something that seems silly, it seems unfair. (But aren't you glad his play saved you money?)
I love FH vs FH -- so rare but so exciting when it happens ^_^ -- this is why you should slow-play by limping instead of checking; the A9 FH would probably raise then as a "feeler" for YOUR hand, and you might just check it down Just In Case...
