The distribution of similarities within the phylogenetic tree is one of the most powerful proofs of evolution. lf creationists could do some real science they could falsify evolution by finding an organism that can't be classified within the accepted phylogeny. Instead they repeat the same old lies and fairy stories because they know they won't find a falsification.

I would also add that this grad makes the usual and annoying mistake of thinking that 'insults' either MAKE his argument/point or ADD to the argument in any way - they don't.

He loses there completely. Those gill pouches contribute to our vocal nerves having to detour through our chest cavity, and are evidence that evolution works by modifying pre-existing designs in small incremental steps, OR that IF a designer existed, he is incompetent.

@mordinvan actually, i don't see any problem with that comparison at all. however, we both know that there's no 'quick' argument that can 'prove' or disprove evolution, and therefore i would rather not get tangled in a lengthy debate on that (even though we could).

I just think that evolution shouldn't be used to argue against God's existence - for I do not believe that's a strong case at all.
