@TheInsaneRose Mostly Bride Of The Monster with Bela Lugosi, I can't recall everything. The surgeons, judging by the quality, could be from an old soap opera, and the fly is from a nature doc that was originally in color.

It's been over a week, I should say something. The Cramps were a huge deal to me as a teenager, owning a CD called Bad Music for Bad People, and knowing that you were the only kid who had it and knew what it was all about made me feel like I was above it all, let the other kids have mall-punk and bubblegum rap, I had something infinitely cooler. Lux had a braggadocio that made me feel like being the one black punk fan was an asset and Ivy helped me learn guitar. He left his mark, he knew that.

Dude I hear you the frist copy I had of this , was a recopied recopy. Back in ..... I think 81 or 82. I then got the casset tape a couple years later because my car got broke into. [Back then , it was so under ground people got the music around by hand.] But I was hooked.They brought this sound to a whole new level.

I always loved "The Cramps" they were like a crazy Punk "Adam's Family" on acid. I have heard that there has been a small resurgence of "Psychobilly" going on lately. I hope so , because I always thought that the sound hasn't been fully explored yet. So to all the creepy kids .... this is what your aiming for.

I agree, and a lot of guys do it in a really cheesy way, there are only a hand full of bands that are really pushing anything. It's funny, the Cramps rejected the label psychobilly; they helped create the term but didn't think they fit the parameters, it probably had something to do with their lack of bass, and even though they did incorporate it later it was electric as opposed to upright.

In the book "Hollywood Babylon", I saw a picture of Bela from his funeral in an open casket. They'd put him in an outfit that looked like something Dracula would wear in HIS coffin! The photo was captioned; "Bela Lugosi, home at last"!

Dude, I'm not remaking this, this was a found footage project from freshman year, I'm a Junior now this piece is very much behind me. Also we were given footage to edit, we coldn't pick, that was part of the exercise, I was listening to this song a lot and some of the footage reminded me of it, the rest fell into place pretty easily. Also starting your commments with "sucked", as constructive as they may be, kind of negates everything you say after it.
