Salinity isn't being taken seriously by the Australian federal or state governments . Something is done, but never enough to actually address the issues. And the real tragedy is that there was so much land cleared and so fast that within one generation you would of seen the land go from wilderness with a diverse range of wildlife to acre after acre after acre of bare dirt for cropping. Environmental Disaster caused by unsustainable practices.
