and was he expensive? and does he need to be in not very cold water?
cause they look really cute, i went to my pets store "pets at home"(europe,uk,wales, bangor)
and they hardly have any cold fish, they said come back on tuesday cuz hundreds will be delivered, but i just went and they said to come bak on tuesday again! i doubt they'll have the pearlscale, but hopefully they do.
I had two huge ones. One cost me RM20 while the other was RM10. Both died days apart. Not sure why though but looks like they had swim bladder disease. The fish is very common in Malaysia and one of the cheapest but it's just too hard to keep them. Both my big ones died, i gave up, planning to keep some Cichlids. Right now i have a Pacu which i love!
I wished if I could puncture its belly with a needle. Then there it goes.., whooshhh...! Become an organic jet boat. Geram tengok perotnya yang boroi. Teehehe...
Hahahaha but the stomache compact with organs la. You wont get the effect you are hoping for. How did i know this? This little guy got sucked by the pump and all his stomache contents got sucked too. Saw them in my filter sponge.
No la, i didnt take any photo. I just remember waking up one morning with this very foul smell. Baru tahu why, his body content was floating all over. My filter kira strong also, 800l/hour but baru RM10.

I feed him floating pellets but i soak them in water for about 5-10 minutes. Supposedly that's the way to feed Goldfish.

Where did you buy them from? I have been searching for months and have had no luck.
