I RECOMMEND and RECOMMEND and RECOMMEND the ""The Last Polka" ...It's my all-time favourite! Thank you SO much for posting this--thought I'd never see it!
i heard about that too i o shit that means he would have later been a ghostbuster that would have been funny if he would just have acted normal like the director wanted cause i love john candy
I love how he took a SCTV character and shared it with Sesame Street... he was such a great comedic actor.. I think the true mark of a great comedian is how they can relate to children and he excelled at this
Stan must be off making cabbage rolls with Vilve Yachki. I was always equally puzzled and delighted when people from SCTV showed up on Sesame Street. I probably saw more of SCTV than I ever did of SS, and when the two came together, I loved it.
See The Last Polka and watch for the Gord Martineau cameo.
I'd recommend seeing The Last Polka if you've already seen The Last Waltz, because some of the humour is better understood in the context of parody. That said, I've always found SCTV humour a bit uneven so don't go expecting something as magnificent as 'Strange Brew.' You might do better looking for highlights on Youtube. My favourite part is Catherine & Mary Margaret O'Hara with Robin Duke as 'The Lemon Twins.'

I think "HubsDrunk" explains it. He's just fucking with you guys. But you know what Hubs? It's not that funny. Try to slowly untwist your life.

I agree with John Candy and Richard Stoltzman, Worms cannot play clarinet. Because worms don't have fingers. But I give this 5 stars.

The Lemon Twins, that was'nt on SCTV. Was that on Last Polka to? Mary Margaret I think only had one SCTV appearance. "Broads Behind Bars".
SCTV and Sesame Street were pretty tight.
