Well I am a Pakistani but my grandparents are from the princely state of Hyderabad(Deccan)...Quite interesting is that neither Moin Akhtar nor Javaid Jafri belongs to Hyderabadi origin but their acting in the show was superb. Personally,I don't think that Hyderabadis living in Karachi and other parts of Pakistan would use Deccani accent any longer especially those who are born in 1970s and later on.

anwar maqsood is the base of pakistani comedy. totally family oriented and for people with good understanding. never been vulgar or cheap. moin akhtar and him are the greatest pakistan and the world has ever seen, we are truly blessed to see them performing for us. without them pakistani comedy would have no standard to speak of. it is sad that bollywood never utilized javed jaffrey as much as he is capable of.
