  • What's wrong with this version?

I have a belief that if a song was initially written in that language, it was meant to be that way.

If you want to know what he says, try researching it.

  • It was around 1780

    And it was in Vienna

    No plastic money anymore

    The banks against him

    Where his debts came from

    It was commonly known

He was a man of women

    Women loved his punk

    Refrain etc.

  • He was a superstar

    He was popular

    He was so exalted

    Because he had flair

    He was a virtuose

    Was a rock idol

    And everyone shouted:

Come on and rock me Amadeus

    Refrain

  • where is the version where you listen to the Mozart chronology of his life

  • jemismyfav, here you go:

    He was a punker

And he lived in the big city

    It was Vienna, was Vienna

    Where he did everything

He had debts, for he drank

But all the women loved him

    And each one shouted:

Come on and rock me Amadeus

    Refrain

  • jemismyfav, and here you go with the first verse:

    He was a punker

And he lived in the big city

    It was Vienna, was Vienna

    Where he did everything

He had debts, for he drank

But all the women loved him

    And each one shouted:

Come on and rock me Amadeus

    Refrain etc.

  • all these videos are poor quality, got a good one clear pitcher's anyone???

  • leech

  • love this song, the beginning is weird tho, with the girl

  • It's because when America put this out as a single, they created it from a mostly instrumental dance remix that came out in the German world and it featured all sorts of weird things like those helium-voiced female vocals, a spoken word history of Mozart, a bridge featuring an R&B singer, and violin and saxophone playing. This is the American single mix you are hearing by the way which came out in parts of the world where Falco was not already very well-known.

  • on his period he is the best rock boy:D

  • this mutha fucker knew how to rock drum machines synths and music period!!!

  • Im sure he says C U Next Tuesday at 1min 15secs?

  • ha ha this song is so funny..i used to think why he was stuttering back then

  • Comment removed

  • Ha, every time I listened to this I kept thinking "What the hell is he saying??!!" The only word I ever understood was amadeus. Though maybe the fact that he is singing in what, German was it is the reason I can't understand.

  • We all did. The innocence of youth.

  • stuttering? hhahaha -- all the rage -- see Max Headroom!

  • Rock Me down!...this is so hip then

  • I love this song.
