I did the sound for himat Woodford folk festival and we got him to take out the feedback buster on the J50 he was using...sounded fantastic and he was happy to have the guitar sound like a guitar

I heard an interview with him on CIUT.fm and I had to chase up this song. This was the first good copy for sound and detail. This is a truly well loved song and justly so. I have to get a CD of his. They also played the amazing Terry Sawchuk song.

He wrote the lyrics in 10 minutes on a trip between Edmonton and Calgary in Sept 1976. Pretty amazing. Fact.
