@MartinaLoves It is bouncy kind of, i dunno how to describe it, just like Noritaka ones they move, not like wood.. Its more comfortable this way and the shoes are still in perfect condition
@suttaification Of course I still have them with me :) Yes this material is stuck very well, as well as the leather BUT the leather strip in the middle in time gets looser and might fall from wearing it, also you need to hand stitch in the zip because glue wont hold it. I suggest you use very strong leather for the bottom AND the actual shoes like in my black heelless shoes video.. My leather isnt real but very strong so it holds, and the bottom doesn't wear off quickly and isnt slippery
your vidieo helps me the most... I will be using wood but you reminded me on how you can make the shoe on an angle... I hate the ones where they look flat and wobbly lol!
@litosfera12321 like, how the foot is pointing down more when you put them on. The foot looks more taller... you put a little pieve in the cak so that it wold do this... other ppl leave that out.
@litosfera12321 do you know wats the exact material you used for the platform cause i used wood and because it flex i topple over when standing please reply thnx :D
I REALLY NEED HELP" Do you have any sugestions for the platform because i dont have this thing youre using and i can't find it anywhere so do you have alternative :S
@AndrejOrsolicVEVO Noep styro foam will break i think? or it will old into a random shape the more you wear it, you can use it for just figure but not wearing. cork is what noritaka uses
@litosfera12321 you think so :S i dont know have you seen this tutorial tipe HOW TO MAKE: Spiked Pearl Shoes in search box and that guy used styrofoam and it worked out pretty well, but yea it could brake and he used mod podge, it gives extra hardness to the styrofoam.
@AndrejOrsolicVEVO Umm Yes I've seen those, but i wouldn't recommend using it, you have cork which is much for comfortable and stable. I was surprised that it worked for him because that material is bad for using shoes which you will constantly wear.
@litosfera12321 HEEY. I just made mine, i used cork and it worked out excellent! Do you have twitter, facebook so i can send you a picture? Im so happy ^^
I'm going to be making a pair of these for my taokaka cosplay and she has a carved out design in the base of the shoe so i was wondering how you would accomplish this and still making it look like leather and not just painting the spots i carved out cause that would look tacky and i'm worried it would ruin the shoe. also if you have any idea on how to make a slightly rounded front it would be appreciated these are what her shoes look like
@UzamakiKitsune Welll to make it more round add more duct tape, or use really thick leather instead... Maybe use cardboard? Just experiment with it.. I used fabric to make my previous ones more round
I'm in the process of making a pair, but I need to know how to do the ductape part in the shape of my foot before I could complete. I think you missed that part out in the video
@suttaification Wrap it around your foot with non sticky side to your foot, then do the same but with sticky tape to your foot so its like connecting both sticky sides... then cut at the back where the zip is...
@litosfera12321 can i ask do you think i would be able to make the base out of wood and if not where can i find something similar to what you have in this video?
@litosfera12321 Well, maybe you can use wood or some other materials, and you say you only have one but in the video preview named Blue heelless shoes, you have two? No hastle, and Im asking for just any noritaka nightmakers, no matter black white or beige chrolauh or well, blue. Haha. so if i can get some from you, they can be in any colour. Im just not as talented at this as you. And, what price again?
OHMYGOSH. thanks SOO much for making this video! I've been drooling over Noritaka Tatehana shoes ever since Gaga started wearing them, and I'm so excited to make my own. I never dreamed you could make them homemade and look that good. I know what i'm doing tomorrow!
Oh my god, thank you for this video. I've been wanting to make these for a photoshoot for so long now. I just used whatever i had around the house to make a prototype of yours(assorted tapes, styrofoam, hot glue, pain) and it turned out really well actually, it's just too light to walk in.
@Branmanlou Oh yes... I made my highest pair of heelless shoes from very light material.. and i said it is too light too! Your shoes are looking good though!
Do you remember the size of the blocks? Because I got a platform maybe a little harder than that one, but it is totally thiner than yours :B btw, what is your foot size, haha
Thanks! and the part you put above the platform... I s it made of the remaining parts of making the platform shapes? And you can actually walk on them?
Fomular 250 Rigid Foam would also work, you can get it at Home Depot in about 2" thick. Or there is special rigid foam for shoes that you can get it at a cobbler in a large piece so you don't have to use clumps of it.
Or thick cuts of rubber would work, but it'd be heavier
@litosfera12321 like at 6:26 where you shape the foot part with duct tape and you even say "i dont know if you know how to do this..." no lol i have no idea how to do that xD
@AbbyLovesJB4Ever Oh yeah that part...Use non sticky duct tape and go around your foot and then use sticky side so it wouldnt stick when you put your foot in.. and then just do that for the whole foot
thats so cool, i'm going to make these and other shoe's gaga wore for my new skool yr :3 lol going to be a lady gaga - nicki minaj look alike x3, can't wait to wear gaga's heelless shoes, unicorns, mugler boots and her grammy's shoes from last yr :3 x3 can't wait....but could i used wood blocks instead of rubber? O.o;;
@litosfera12321 its alright, and ok :3 lol since it would be easy, but alot of carving, but i'll post pixx of the end results of the 6 shoes i'm making x3
i made one of these and now i can be like a horse! lol :D

Hi, I wonder if you still have them with you.
If so, does the material you sticked on with glue, still stays through time?
Does it survive wear&tear?
And what do you use for the bottom sole, to prevent slipping?
:)

Hey, I'm using black ductape to cover my shoes, but it looks so tape-y.
Any tips on how to cover them strategically , or you recommend covering them with fabric?
if so, do you attach them with glue or sew on it?

Fomular 250 Rigid Foam would also work, you can get it at Home Depot in about 2" thick. Or there is special rigid foam for shoes that you can get it at a cobbler in a large piece so you don't have to use clumps of it.
Or thick cuts of rubber would work, but it'd be heavier
