@MartinaLoves It is bouncy kind of, i dunno how to describe it, just like Noritaka ones they move, not like wood.. Its more comfortable this way and the shoes are still in perfect condition

If so, does the material you sticked on with glue, still stays through time?

Does it survive wear&tear?

And what do you use for the bottom sole, to prevent slipping?

@suttaification Of course I still have them with me :) Yes this material is stuck very well, as well as the leather BUT the leather strip in the middle in time gets looser and might fall from wearing it, also you need to hand stitch in the zip because glue wont hold it. I suggest you use very strong leather for the bottom AND the actual shoes like in my black heelless shoes video.. My leather isnt real but very strong so it holds, and the bottom doesn't wear off quickly and isnt slippery

@litosfera12321 like, how the foot is pointing down more when you put them on. The foot looks more taller... you put a little pieve in the cak so that it wold do this... other ppl leave that out.

@ytvration I said many times that I don't know where you can get this.....And my size is 8 but this shoe is size 9 i think, it turned out bigger..

@AndrejOrsolicVEVO Noep styro foam will break i think? or it will old into a random shape the more you wear it, you can use it for just figure but not wearing. cork is what noritaka uses

@litosfera12321 you think so :S i dont know have you seen this tutorial tipe HOW TO MAKE: Spiked Pearl Shoes in search box and that guy used styrofoam and it worked out pretty well, but yea it could brake and he used mod podge, it gives extra hardness to the styrofoam.

@AndrejOrsolicVEVO Umm Yes I've seen those, but i wouldn't recommend using it, you have cork which is much for comfortable and stable. I was surprised that it worked for him because that material is bad for using shoes which you will constantly wear.

I'm going to be making a pair of these for my taokaka cosplay and she has a carved out design in the base of the shoe so i was wondering how you would accomplish this and still making it look like leather and not just painting the spots i carved out cause that would look tacky and i'm worried it would ruin the shoe. also if you have any idea on how to make a slightly rounded front it would be appreciated these are what her shoes look like

@UzamakiKitsune Welll to make it more round add more duct tape, or use really thick leather instead... Maybe use cardboard? Just experiment with it.. I used fabric to make my previous ones more round

Hey, I'm using black ductape to cover my shoes, but it looks so tape-y.

Any tips on how to cover them strategically , or you recommend covering them with fabric?

if so, do you attach them with glue or sew on it?

@suttaification As you can see I covered mine with fabric with glue gun, i suggest using thicker leather to hide the duck tape folds :)

Hey, I really need your help.

I'm in the process of making a pair, but I need to know how to do the ductape part in the shape of my foot before I could complete. I think you missed that part out in the video

@suttaification Wrap it around your foot with non sticky side to your foot, then do the same but with sticky tape to your foot so its like connecting both sticky sides... then cut at the back where the zip is...

Oh my god, thank you for this video. I've been wanting to make these for a photoshoot for so long now. I just used whatever i had around the house to make a prototype of yours(assorted tapes,styrofoam,hot glue, pain) and it turned out really well actually, it's just too light to walk in.

Fomular 250 Rigid Foam would also work, you can get it at Home Depot in about 2" thick. Or there is special rigid foam for shoes that you can get it at a cobbler in a large piece so you don't have to use clumps of it.

Or thick cuts of rubber would work, but it'd be heavier
