To the people commenting on emotion...how do you know he is not feeling emotion? I never understood why people think you have to make a face in order to be feeling the music. Everyone is different
Very nice playing and good sound quality too! Just some advice, you don't have to use it if you don't want but, try keeping your thumb off the top of the neck, except when you bend. This will allow you to have more freedom, you'll be able to reach further if you do this. Anyways great playing, keep rockin' out!
Your sound is huge!!!! i love it both the amp and the delay. You did a fantastic job to get it. I found your settings in grail tone web site but your delay is brilliant too. could you please share it? congratulation.
no dude, i didnt mean it like that. i meant that it's starting to sound boxy. I understand better than anybody that mids are good, im not a kirk hammett fan.
Just needs a small bit less, to really smooth out the tone, also rolling the tone knob down a quarter of the way makes a world of difference.
Not sure what you mean by "boxy" but I actually really like the low-mid, ever-so-slightly abrasive tone here. If you notice he has his presence set really low, so its got that vocal "aw" articulation from the low-mids, without any of that brittle icepick on your eardrums harshness.
no way man, when you're not doing metal, mids are where it's at. I've been looking forever for a Mark IV clip that isn't scooped to hell to help compare with Mark III clips I've heard. Thanks alot man!

there's so much more to this solo than just hitting the notes bro.
bazilmeister 9 months ago
Very good but you lack of emotion. Try not just to hit the notes!!! Play with your heart and not your hands!!! Keep on rocking dude!!!

good solo, but dial the volume knob lower in the beginning of the solo. Allthough you have an awesome rig I dislike your tone

This inspired me as well..
altho, too much distortion, at least at the beginning.. play around with the volumeknob as you go through the first 30% and increase =)

Good job dude!! This track kinda inspired me to do a bit of improv.
Check it out, it's called "improv jam".

Amazing Guitar Dude!
How much did you pay for it?

i mean boxy as in it doesnt have that smooth flowing vocal kind of sound, that almost liquid gain.

Note: I think there's some wah pedal going on in the 2nd half of the solo, but the first half is a good example of what I'm talking about.
21fretsalute 3 years ago
oh yeah, little bit too much mids, and needs delay, but your damn close man.
Use the EQ to just chop the mids slightly and it'll sound like sex

worst advice ever... have fun being drowned out in the mix without any mids... mids are what get you heard...

Just pick it out by ear and watching the video...it's not that difficult

Nah i jsut got it, i had my low E out of the tune bit so it sounded weird always. I think it starts with B# then F and slide from C to D.

sounds good. timing is a bit off in some spots, but other than that, it sounds good.

Try the &fmt=18 trick at the end of the URL, you'll hear the best audio quality with a little more delay :)
