Huffington Post has so much going for it. But it has one enormous flaw. The comments are heavily moderated by their thought police. Freedom of speech is very important to liberals and there are all kinds of large websites that don't heavily moderate their comments so there is no reason why Huffington has to. The only reason they do it is because they are control freaks.

My problem with the Huffington post is that they censor user comments. No all, of course. If you disagree with them and sound like an idiot, your comment will be posted. If you intelligently disagree then you are probably seen as threat and your comment will not be posted. This has happened to me several times. Eventually, I gave up trying to post comments. The funny thing is I'm actually fairly liberal and generally agree with their politics.

I really like Arianna Huffington, one of my few disagreements with her is I do think she blames to much on the right wing.
