your computer freezes cause you dont have the sounds on "soundblaster"

there should be music in the back and people should be able to talk without freezing.

hey man i found how to run the game without any glitches (so far at least).

when you use DOSBOX type mount c c:\(where ever you keep your DOSgames, for me its called DOSgames)

then type c:

then cd (whatever you called the folder where you keep all the darkseed files)

then instead of typing start to start the game type DS. you will get like 3 lines of info, then just wait like 5 seconds and the game will start glitch free, for me at least ;)

You can fix that problem,bottom right of the video there is an option to turn off the annotations

As a HUGE H.R. Giger fan, I bought this game when it first came out-- yeah, I loved the imagery, but the gameplay was a bit off at times, and the restart factor was a bummer, but overall I had a great time with the game.

This is one of the reasons why I don't really like this game. If you make even the smallest mistake in the beginning of the game, you'll have to start over sooner or later.
