  • The way you said Itadakimasu sounded really corny >.<, like a kid or so, but I suppose they understand if you look like a foreigner.

  • @gbatemper123 it's too much anime syndrome. seiyuus aren't the best guide for everyday japanese pronunciation~ ^_^

  • @moxxfactor I'm fluent and Japanese and I've been to japan several times :0

  • @gbatemper123 i'm agreeing with you on the uploader's accent and providing a reasoning.

  • Subarashi!

  • omg i want him to be my dad lol

  • i'll eat mcdonalds in japan

  • you sounded like a faggot when u said itadakimasu

  • Nothing special about 'sushi'. Just a piece of vinegar rice with some fish (or squid, prawn, etc) and wasabi dipping in soy sauce. And that's it?? Don't know why people are crazy about it. I find it weird! I'll just stick to my own cuisine..

  • @KatiushaVN4 you dont know anything, shut the fuck up

  • @KatiushaVN4 it's fucking delicious that's why people are crazy about it u ignorant piece of trash

  • @KatiushaVN4 Saying that obviously means you haven't tried it in Japan. Trying Sushi in your own country won't be the same grade. And Sushi tastes awesome. A lot better than bbh, pho and paper rice rolls. Yes, stick to your own cuisine. Just don't expect people to go crazy over vietnamese food. "ooh com tam..nothing special...its just broken rice with meat and other crap that tastes aweful"

  • @otacon23

    You're stupid and not logical.

    1. You say the reason that I think sushi is plain just because I haven't tried sushi in Japan.

    2. You haven't tried Vietnamese foods in Vietnam. Then, how come you think it can't be compared to sushi?? See what I mean? You haven't tried them how dare you give conclusion just like how you blamed me..

BTW, as for White boy like you who are in love with sushi, there's just 1 reason: You're a "Japanese Wannabe". Enuff said.

  • @KatiushaVN4 I agree with you that sushi is plain, and guess what? It's tasty! :-) No one ever says sushi is spicy or subtle in taste but sometimes you just need something plain. Like having a big meal and a hot dog. That's it.

Being a "Wanabe-Japanese"? Nah~~~. Japanese are Japanese. Nikkei are Nikkei. Foreigners are foreigners. I don't think migrating to Japan and getting a Japanese passport will make one Japanese. I'd rather getting a citizenship rather than being a Japanese. Don't worry.

  • @otacon23 I'm not gonna jump into your argument with Kat however based on what you just said, you're pretty familiar with Viet foods yourself. Either you're a fan of Viet food or you're straight up Vietnamese.

  • @ThanhCuTi I am neither. I am thai/british. We have many viet restaurants in australia and I do have friends who are asian and enjoy viet food. For me, its....so so. But I usually avoid going to viet restaurants. Out of all asian foods, I would have to say viet food would be number 8 on my list.

  • People from the US don't know about true sushi. Real sushi is meant to be savored at room temperature, straight from the fish, as it was enjoyed 200-500 years ago. The true flavor of fish can be certainly attained that way. Here people expect it to be cold because of health requirements for imported fish; an egregious mistake to say the least.

  • @tvu86 What a load of rubbish, once fish is at room temperature it is already starting to spoil.

  • @kuruki213 Starting to spoil doesn't mean spoiled. Hence STARTING. Sure if you leave the fish out for hours then yes it will spoil. Don't confuse yourself with ridiculous misconceptions.

  • @tvu86 For fish to remain fresh it must be chilled. For the sushi to be at room temperature from a chilled fish means leaving it sitting at room temperature. I find it funny that no top establishments do this, yet you seem to think you are onto something. Allowing chilled fish to come to room temperature would nolonger be considered fresh where im from. Fresh to me and you must be something totally different.

Maybe your sushi is full of preservative that it is considered fresh at room temp.

  • @kuruki213 Or maybe my fish is straight from a bay and not shipped from thousands of miles away. The reason why fish is served cold in America is they flash freeze the fish to kill the parasites and parasite eggs contained in the fish. You probably think a roll is sushi. Get out of here you clown.

  • @tvu86 I dont care where in the World you catch your fish. Any person with a brain knows the first thing you do is kill your fish and then put it on ice. Every competent fisherman in the world does this, every 5 star sushi joint expects this. You are making yourself look stupid. I doubt very mush you have discovered something that thousands of top Sushi chefs world wide have not. Your dreaming.

  • @kuruki213 Sukiyabashi Jiro = Room Temperature fish. Sukiyabashi Jiro = Considered best sushi joint in the world.

  • @kuruki213 You're delusional. Your view of "sushi" is as encompassing as your statements are coherent (not at all intelligent). If you've ever been to Japan (which I doubt you have), any good sushi master worth his salt knows it's best served straight from the source, at the source. Go to Osaka and type an apology to me, after having witnessed as to what I am referring to.

  • @kuruki213 Fresh= Not Spoiled & Not Frozen

  • Most of sushi you can eat in California is not even sushi... even Japanese sushi restaurant in CA is 5〜6 point in 10 unfortunately. Look at moves of this guy's hands.

    see.

  • those are so huge

  • is there generally a big difference b/w the quality of sushi in japan and the quality in america?

  • is it expensive to eat sushi in japan?

  • @yuna866 No it is cheaper. Unless you are going to like a 3-star chef or something.

  • oh and i meant i was not sure if the "z" was traditional or if its just a way to stand out =D

  • @chidoriookami haha, yea me either.

  • fresh sushi man. fresh seafood always taste different.

  • ...need...sushi..now...

oh btw! wen u say "sushi" in japanese, the more accurate way to say it is with a silent "u" and often a silent "i" that might sound weird but if u listen to alot of pple say it, then it makes sense lol s-sh--i

hm its better to hear it XD

  • I kept trying to say it that way, it still sounds weird.

  • lolz practice makes perfect =S

  • @chidoriookami i guess..when it follows the name of the restaurant...for example, taro`s sushi, the s becomes a z sound. taros zushi.

    たろずしでしょね?

  • @phixxwutwut hm i guess, ...and i bet it makes it pop out more, when someone says it ^^ and i think it follows the flow of the word b4 it "tarozu zushi"

    ちょっと わかりません よ..^^''

  • @chidoriookami

    ええ。。なるほどね。

  • xD XD

  • ginza is rich people's place. it must be very expensive

  • how much is that plate?

  • how much was the sushi? :-)

  • so i never had sushi before . what does it taste like?

  • Good sushi should always taste fresh, not fishy, the fresh taste of raw fish is better than cooked fish in my opinion, these kinds of sushi places in Japan are the best cos they get the best stuff REALLY fresh every morning so yea.... there is a high chance the fish was alive that morning.... OR even just before being served to you.

  • the best thing you've ever eaten in your life :D

  • fucking good...

the combination of fresh fish and room temperature rice is great

    you have to try it

  • Omg really? I can't live without sushi! Its the best!, can't really tell you what it taste like.. cause theres ALOT of varieties. You'll have to taste em yourself :P

  • its hard to explain. ita mix of salty, vingerish, fish taste to put it simply... its alot better than it sounds.

  • OOHHHH SUSHII!! ahhh.. i want to eat now!!!

  • 50788 viewer woowow

  • I believe that the best Sushi eats up in Tsukiji Market. It is more freshly and more reduction sale. In Ginza it is paid to 200 $ by a sushi that in Tsukiji costs approximately 40 $. It belongs to idiots to spend more money for being a snob.

  • haha awesome vid... what did you say at the end there? ikeda... ? something lol

  • or was it itadakimasu?

  • what does sushi taste like i never ate it .........??

  • SOOO good.

  • Delicious. The best food you'll ever eat.

  • ill try it for sure ....

  • well, for some it is an acquired taste. I grew up with fresh fish, both cooked and raw, so I can't even remember when I first had it. I know a lot of people who HATED sushi when they first tried, but not can't live without it. and i know people who hated sushi when they first tried it, and still hate it.

  • hahahaha i hope i like it cuz it nice to only watch makeing them xD :P

  • it taste like a combination of different tastes. if you like cooking you'll like the different sensations

  • sushi all day

  • PLS don`t order California roll when you come to Japan.Because the california roll is not traditional sushi in Japan. Enjoy japanese food in Japan!

  • Oh cool thanks for answering :)

I'm assuming it's cooked? That's cool... I'll have to try it someday!

  • hehe of course its cooked xD it would've been jelly-ish if not...

  • Lol right... I sorta didn't think of that :P

  • the yellow one is a sweet omellete made from chicken eggs. It is called tamago in japanese

  • its handmade of course you have to touch it and mold the rice for the fish

  • is that yellow one a egg? That would be awesome!! I LOVE SEAWEED AND FISH AND RICE I INJECT IT INTO MY VEINS!!!

  • god im hungry!!!

  • I dont know what town its in but if you ever when to the fisherman's market, theres some sushi shops in there and the fish are FRESH because they are in a fish market.

  • wow ginza... you are rich!

  • when ever someone go somewhere, that does not mean they are rich.

  • I agree with yes999hk. Going to Ginza doesn't mean you're reach... Unless you have an apartment there! ^_^

  • There's something soooooo soothing about this video. Can't stop watching it!

  • I know what you mean, the loud clanging and soft speech with that low quality sound...it's almost a turn-on.

  • I think that the hypnotic quality of this video comes from the rotating fan sound in the background. I use one in my room, it helps me sleep. This video makes me sleepy.

  • Those sushi look passable. Certainly not the best I've seen. But the place seems very VERY nice!

  • wonderful!
