  • VHS films!Gone but not forgotten!

  • I think this is one of the best disney movies that can never be replaced.

  • thumbnail looked like a lump of shit no offence.

  • Oh no...I won't cry... I won't...!

There goes a tear, and another. Oh damnit, I am crying now.

  • NICE!

  • OH MY GOD, I'M CRYING

  • Damn you....i seriously crying my eyes out right now...

  • This song, and the scene it appears in, always takes me back to when I lost Bear, a chow mix who died after he was hit in the street. It was almost ten years ago, but some wounds just never heal completely.

Losing your loved ones gets easier to live with over time, but you never forget them. All we can do is try to remember the good times, and let those thoughts shelter our hearts whenever we miss them.

  • this song always makes me want to die. I cry every time!

  • this song makes me think of my guy, i told him i had to forget about him in a way and he told me that id be on his mind forever and that he'll miss me... we tried to forget about what i said but it was no use..... he's gone now but i still love him like the Widow and Tod

  • when i watched this movie for the first time i cried becoz Goodbye sometimes is forever :/

  • The Fox & the Hound is amoung my top 5 favorite Disney films and I have seen almost all of them. It is so diffrent in its meesege, character development & story than all the outher films the studio done & I really hope it will find a bigger cult-following in the future.

Good work with the video by the way.

  • To the two people that didn't like this. Go fuck yourself.

  • This song reminds me of my dog morgan....She's gone cuz she kept running away and me and my parents can't find so we....gave up on her....*Cries*

  • this version is so good..

But litsen to the swedish, it's the best!!!

  • this song just makes me cry like an 5-yearold

makes me think of my dog Eddie that passed away 5 years ago

and soon i might even lose my great-grandmother

  • this is my all time favorite disney movie =D without fail this scene made me cry every single time i watched it

  • It's amazing how simple and strong this song is. What really gets me is that it can really be put to anything precious that was lost.

  • Someone got given this song for a music challenge and me, being curious, went to look it up. What a sad sad song... cry cry cry

  • oh Tod <3

  • farewell is like the end but in my heart the memories.....i just love this song from this movie

  • so many memories, so many sad things I want to forget, but this song reminds me of christmas with the person that meant more than the world to me...sometimes I want those old times back because then I get to see my family again. This song makes me feel like a kid again and nothing is wrong...like it is now. There were two people in my life that I loved more than anything...now I don't get to see either of them. I feel so alone without them. They were all I had left and now they're gone. T-T

  • How the ..... can people dislike this ? Stupid trolls...

  • why did she leave the fox in the woods in the first place?

  • @TheProudAmerican777 because Amos wanted to kill him.

  • Oh, this is very great! The colours are chosen good.

  • I thought I was the only one that cried at that song. Now I don't feel so bad lol! I always cry when I watch this part. It means even more now because my little dog, Lassie is sick. She's old and I've had her since she was 8 weeks old and now she's 12. This song sums up how I feel.

  • I always think of all my friends and ex-boyfriends, ad everyone who comes and goes in my life, and I'm literally bawling right now. I think life is so short, and we have to treasure our times with our loved ones, because one day they will all be gone and it's just so sad. The saddest scene I have ever seen just yet.

  • omg this song reminds me of my best firend that was a ferret when i hear this song this is how are friendship used to be. but he passed away ( max i will always love you little guy have fun up there)

  • had me crying because i'm emigrating next month & i have to leave my dog behind- hes only a mutt but hes my best friend, really breaks my heart

  • it's so easy to relate this song to something in your life such as loosing something you love. what a tear jerker

  • This song always makes me cry because it always remindes me when I lost my cat. And I am not a cryer in movies,so if I cried for THIS,then THAT's how sad it is

  • Very Xweet Video !

  • this song always makes me cry,the movie itself has some really sad parts

  • same here...heh thought id never admit that lol

  • haha yeah i can be a big cry baby

  • @smoore650 indeed

it has some of the sadest parts of a childmovie ever

sad everyone shoud have watched this when he was young

  • I agree.

  • This is so sad :( I love the music of older films. It has a certain touch to it that something from this time can never measure up to.

  • I agree. The older Disney movies are better then the new ones at any rate. More meaning in them, as well as effort. Everythings computer animated now, where as theyre drawn. =/ Not that convienance isn't nice... but still.

  • Yes - and it seems that all the computer animated ones are all about comedy and bright colors and appealing to younger children.

Disney's traditional animated movies had meaning to them like you said and could be enjoyed by all ages; they even had deeper meanings that only adults could comprehend in some. Now I get embressed just by watching a new animated film. Brother Bear was shameful - I can't believe that Disney was going to leave that as it's last animated movie!

  • i fort brother bear was quite good for a newer movie

  • @Knight0fPurity Computer animation takes just as much effort as traditional animation. It isn't "convenient". Every last element is painstakingly rendered, every movement and particle produced in astonishing detail. Look at Tangled, or Toy Story, or Wall-E. Both methods of animation produce wonderful movies, and both are examples of an exquisite art.

  • @GaladedridDamodred I know. but, It will not replace Traditional animation, never will.

  • @TodCopper981 Nor is it inferior simply because it is newer. To say so is to indulge in reactionary provincialism.

  • @GaladedridDamodred what do you mean by "reactionary provincialism"?

  • @TodCopper981 I mean narrow, limited, stubbornly old-fashioned, insisting that things are better simply because they are older. Yes, CGI is newer. Yes, it doesn't have the same feel as traditional animation. But it contains just as much artistry, beauty and splendour, and to say that it's not as good simply because it's newer is basest ungratitude toward the artists who make it possible and a baseless argument from nostalgia.

  • @GaladedridDamodred I see. well, Thanks for explain it to me ^_^

  • @Knight0fPurity DRAWING is a pure masterpiece

  • I cry every time i see this :(( now it makes me cry even harder because this reminds me of my dog Daphne who i had to rehome just a few days ago :'(

  • me too. saddest song ever for a movie.

  • "That's what friends are for" is a better montage song for this movie.

  • I adopted two kittens recently, I don't think I need to look for names for them. Great vid.

  • Are you naming them Copper and Todd? :D

  • I don't think I can now I found out they're two girls. :)

  • I've named my female animals male names by mistake xD ;33

  • I named one of my kittens Todd after this film :)

  • my cat is called copper :)

  • thats so cute!

  • this scene makes me and my sister cry like babies!!

  • i love tod he's so cute

  • I love this movie. I think I cried during it. I don't remember, it's been so long.

  • This was one of the most AMAZING movies I've seen IN MY LIFE.

    Beautiful, beautiful song:)

    ~Carly

  • this movie still makes me cry so much!!!

  • the fox and the hound was the only disney that made me cry this much :( still does! specially when she leaves him in the woods..

  • and what about Bambi...it makes me cry too

both of these disney movies makes me cry.....

Disney made my childhood to the best time of my life......but today Disney doesn't make so beautiful movies like previous...ohh Disney come back to your old, sad storys....

  • never seen bambi, shocking i know! i miss these kind of disney movies, theyre not the same anymore..

  • ya now they have 3d animation crap!!

  • and then u realise that life is not like that...and its neva the same

  • Damn, I was the first to comment this video 8 months ago. It's unbelievable a lot has changed since then, I've gotten over a broken heart. But I will never feel the same again.

  • This is the only movie that makes me cry.

i still do everytime i see it. & ive watched it over 50 times!

& it reminds me of losing my best friend

    & then i cry harder

    :(

  • omg the fox and the hound was the first movie i had ever cried to wehn i was little i still cry to it wehn i watch it i cry for about and hour after its over :(

  • Very beautifully made.

I had tears in my eyes the whole time, still do actually. (every time I see or just listen to this part of the movie, I cry a lot)

  • I didn't cry just watching it, but when I started to sing along with the singer, I started to cry a lot. This reminds me of my ex... I hope you're having fun wherever you are... <3

  • thank you. And thats upsetting. I hate thoughs times.

  • How could the singer sing this song without crying?

  • I know I wonder why?

  • @sweetaliyyah maybe she did what to cry

  • @MidgetBuddie

That is exactly what I am wondering. In the film, the Widow tears up when she gets into the car after dropping Tod off. And I start crying when she starts to sing. I can never watch this movie without crying.

  • I always cry at this...it reminds me of my cat who i grew up with n she died like 4 months ago =[

i cant get over it..and when i watch this..it makes me think about her and how much she meant =[..xx

  • Thats very sad young one. I feel that pain when my hamster died.

  • I love this Video so much T_T

it reminds me of My cat who ran away.

    I miss him everyday.

When i first saw this after he ran away i cried so much.

I used to cry alot when he went away but now i just smileat our memories.=]

  • Aw thats very sad. This reminds me of a friend that moved away from me and we never saw again after that. Its very sad. And it makes me cry. Thats so sad. Really. But thanks for the comment.

  • Thanks for sharing this. It is really beautiful and touching! It's nice to see younger audiences have an appreciation for the movies and moments like these which have meant so much to me over the years. Disney movies aren't just cartoons, there's alot more to them than that and the music has a way of really speaking to your heart. I hope you guys never get too old to enjoy these classics. I'm in my thirties and I love them just as much as the first time I saw them!

  • That was so sweet. yeah, this was a really hard video to work on. Thank you very much for the touching comment.

  • reminds me of me and my ex. :(

  • This video is really sad.

  • Yes I'm 16 as well, this doesn't make me cry but I get a unexplainable feeling though.

  • I feel the same. Though i am 13.

  • This video is great, someone needed to make a new video of 'Fox and the Hound' people might start to forget there childhood memories.

Thank you very much for taking me back. You did well

  • This brought me back too. Your'e welcome and thank you for the comment.

  • You welcome, I miss my childhood days everything was so easy :'( ITS SO SAD!

  • i still have my memories. I'm only 12.

  • AW I luv this...It's sooo sad I remember doing a redo of the old lady and tod on my tophrulez4ever account...LUCKY I'm 16 *Sniff*
